The Princess and the Three Knights

What a sweet story and beautiful artwork! The message that what's inside of a person is more important than what's on the outside is communicated both through the story and the pictures...and it is done in a non-preachy way!I bought this for my nearly 4 year old grand daughter who listened to it three times in one day.There is even enough action in it to interest her 7 year old brother. After reading it we all three discussed how men should protect women and that what's in our hearts is more valuable than anything else.

Great book for the 'tween' girl. This is a neat story of how a princess's heart is won by the wisest suitor. My 9 year old understood it perfectly. This is a great way to teach younger girls to be discerning about the boys...good and bad around them. This is a book that we will take off the shelf and read through for years to come. I would also say that this is an excellent bedtime story to read with your daughter. It's not long, but is though provoking and is a good conversation starter about boys when that time comes in her life.

We just read it to our girls and niece and they loved it! My eldest daughter (7) requested that we read it again for bedtime! I am excited to explain its beauty and significance to them as they get older. For now, I'm delighted that they have taken to it! The artwork is beautiful and the text is perfect for five to ten year olds!

I read this book to both my son and daughter. They love it! A good message for young people about what to look for later in a partner.

After reading this story both my daughters said in unison, 'I like that story' with a dreamy enchanted look on their faces, beautifully written and gorgeous illustration :-)

The message is timeless and told in a way that every girl and boy should hear this if you are teaching about purity and true love. My daughter LOVED this book when she was little, and I will continue to give it as a gift.

What first drew me to this book was the artwork, which is beautifully done. I'm not always happy with how princess stories are told, this one, however, is done very well & I was happy to give it to my daughter & recommend it to anyone else who has young daughters or granddaughters.

This is a great book showing young girls (and boys) what true love is all about. True love protects and looks out for the best interest of the other individual. This book did a great job portraying that. My 3 girls love it because of the princess theme and I love the lesson they are learning from it. I've also shared this book during our church's AWANA counsel time and got many great complements from other parents. I would have to agree with what others said about the characters. The two knights who are unworthy of the princess are not handsome. It would have been nice if they looked decent because that is how it often is in life but this doesn't take away from the story too much.
