Amazing! Just bought Book of Souls last month, this is a great companion, I love Popoff's writing since BWBK, I already own hundred of magazines and books on Maiden and metal in general, and trust me, this is no crap like Iron Maiden in the studio sh.t book, well written and greatly illustrated. up the irons

The writer and editing is a joke. But there is some nice info. I think.
Popoff seems like he really doesn't like Iron Maiden. That's my opinion though. However, this book is fraught with an inexcusable amount of errors. In it, Popoff has Adrian Smith joining the band and getting fired from the band and joining the band again before their first record. Sorry, that was Dave Murray. He focuses on Derek Riggs, whom he calls Derek "RIFFS" at one point, way too much. Yeah, yeah, I get he "invented" Eddie. BFD though, because Maiden made Eddie who he is today. "Derek" Stratton??? WTF??? Too many more to mention,With the numerous obvious mistakes, I just don't know what to believe in there.Iron Maiden is by and far my most listened to band. Favorite if you will. And if you are going to tout any band don't s*** on them or throw digs at them like Popoff did many times. Hell, I even got offended after a while.I do like the layout but I don't really care about Helloween, Motley Crue or some of the other bands Popoff compared IM to.Taht's my two cents. Buy it but believe with a bit of trepidation because there are some blatant falsehoods.

Iron Maiden
Just got my copy in the mail and skimming through the book, it looks like it's loaded with a lot of Maiden info and photo's. Should be a must have for any Maiden fan !!! Looking forward to reading as soon as the dust settles here....

Nice
Great pictures and everything is dated, so it was like going back in time for me looking thru this book. I enjoy this book and makes a nice addition to my collection of Maiden stuff...
