ZINUS Andover Upholstered Bed Frame / Tufted Bed Frame with Nailhead Detail / Adjustable Headboard / Easy Assembly, Full

I purchased this item thinking I would not need to purchase a box spring. The item's title was "Zinus Andover Upholstered Tufted Bed Frame Nailhead Detail / Mattress Foundation / No Box Spring Needed / Wood Slat Support, King". It literally said "No Box Spring Needed / Wood Slat Support" which would lead one to think (a) I don't need a box spring, and (b) wood slats are included. Well, neither of these are true. Zinus was unhelpful and says this is Amazon's problem, and Amazon wants me to pack up this 100+ lb box, send it back, and they will send a whole new one. The simple solution would be to send me the wooden slats and correct the description so others aren't duped, but I don't see that happening. The funny thing is that after I reported the issue to Zinus, they did modify the description a bit. I have always been happy with Amazon's service but this is a disappointment, as a loyal Prime member. I will never purchase a Zinus product again. I will make this work on my own, since nobody wants to stand behind this product.

When I first received this bed I thought I had only received the head board. As I unpacked the box, I found all the parts were in the head board. I am 65 years old and my eyesight is not very good anymore and I can not carry anything heavy. I took all the parts out of the head board and carried the parts to the bedroom. One hour later the bed was completely together. Handy little tool included with the bed made the process easy. This little tool is so much better than the L shaped gadgets most products use. Took me a while to understand that the side boards are not attached using standard screws, but that is because my eye sight is poor and I had to look very closely to see the parts to attach the side boards were already in place. All I had to do was loosen them and slide the metal pieces over them and retighten them.the bed is just as pictured and I love it. Normally I pay someone to put together things like this and when I opened the box I was just making sure everything was there before I called to hire someone. I am so pleased that this bed was so easy I did it myself.

I loooooooooooove this bed. I knew exactly what I was looking for and it took a while for me to find it, but I'm so glad I did. This bed is /LOW/ to the ground, we used a metal box spring to lift the mattress higher. The bed was very easy to assemble and all the tools are included. My husband assembled the bed by himself in 2 hours. Great quality and value.

This bed has made me realize that I no longer need to shop at IKEA for most furniture items. This bed absolutely has better engineering then any solution I’ve seen from IKEA.All the fasteners are pre attached and it took about 40 minutes to assemble. The included ratchet tool was also amazing.I like that the headboard is adjustable and surprisingly soft.Overall this bed is gorgeous, and we are satisfied.

I absolutely love this bed! It is well-made, the fabric is gorgeous and the nail trim adds a lot of character. If you're looking to place the bed in a small space, the headboard is still quite tall even at its lowest setting and the frame is on the large side (check the dimensions). I planned to use it under a dormer, but had to rethink that. The bed is worth the trouble though and I'm thrilled to keep it. All the components were carefully packaged and labeled, making it easy to assemble myself (5'4" woman of average build). Zinus even included a ratchet wrench that made the job a breeze. I bought the Zinus Easy Assembly Wood Slat 1.6 Inch Queen Bunkie Board to use instead of a box spring, and it fits inside the frame with a little wiggle-room on each side. The entire bed is very sturdy. I am so impressed with Zinus and their products!

Nice looking bed, it was very easy to assemble. Was missing a part and one of the legs were broken so was unable to attach. The company was unhelpful and said amazon had to help. They as well were unhelpful. I’m now going to have to try and go buy parts myself if I want to keep the bed. Or I can take everything apart repackage and ship back. It was a king size.

Love the bed! Was surprisingly easy to put together. All parts to the bed came nice and securely zipped up within the back of the headboard. Would highly recommend this nice quality easy to put together bed frame.

Bed is so beautiful, took about 1 1/2 hour to fix the bed (BY MYSELF). Everything came fixed and noting was missing even came a whole day early (Thanks UPS)
