I purchased looking for a replacement to my bulky vice recorder and I’m glad I did. It small enough to be carried around on a keychain. Picks up voices well and the battery last.

Crap. Just crap.I had such a good experience with the EVIDA recorder that I bought this thinking it would be comparable with voice activation- NOPE!This is the kind of stuff you find from China on amazon. Yes, technically it records some sounds, but nothing you can actually hear and the voice activation is a joke. Tested it out 6 x hoping making it was a user error but truth is, it is just crappy electronics on amazon. If you’re looking for good recording, look elsewhere. I lost some money testing this product out. Bummer.

Interesting concept for the recorder but the instructions were written for the younger generations who are/have growing/grown up using computer-related products on a daily basis, not the older generations who only occasionally do things like setting up files with 'extensions' on their computers (with patient help from younger, knowledgeable users). I *might* have accomplished setting up the necessary file but have no idea how to edit the file through a 'text editor', as if I know what THAT means. Until I can get someone to take the time to show me how to do that I'll be using (maybe) the recorder without a desirable feature which is the recorder time-stamp. Maybe that's not so important but it's the principle of proper technical writing aimed at users who aren't computer code writers has not been applied.Nice item, creative concept but the instructions need to be edited to the average non-technical user is able to set up and use it without a major time investment hunting for the geek squad.I'm apprehensive about being able to use it and successfully transfer the recordings to my computer, so there's a good chance it will just sit in the desk drawer, which represents a waste of my money and time.

For some reason I can’t get the recording to play on my laptop (hp). I even downloaded VLC media player, Any thoughts?

3 stars because doesn’t keep charge 36 hours as on the description. It holds only 13-14 hours. Probably mine is defective, I don’t know.

I love this product because I like catching people in lies! This is so nice to have to record people lying! I’ve busted a few people! It’s durable and it’s so cute looking in your key chain nobody will ever know!

I got this for my son because he lives to play detective and fun things like that and he loves this thing so much. He loves being able to record his “detective notes” and be able to hear them play back for him. Also has very clear playback!

Great little voice recorder! Super discreet. It’s easy to use and has good sound quality. Great for recording conversations you want to transcribe.
