I transferred the contents of the hard disk drive in my laptop onto this SSD which fitted into the space left by the HDD. Loading times at startup have improved markedly so am looking to get a few more years use from this laptop.

Be honest?! you not gonna buy this for top spec gaming machine. Fitted into my old Vaio Laptop gave a new life to my rather old machine. It works, it easy to install, it is cheap. Highly recommended if you have some devices waiting for upgrade. My PS4 gunna get it very soon too.

Cracking little ssd. Perfect for installing the operating system and other apps. But not big enough for games and stuff.

So bought this as a cheaper option to upgrade the HDD in my laptop.Used some free to use software to clone HDD and copied over to this SSD.A bit tricky opening up the laptop to get to the existing drive but once in it is an easy plug in new SSD and put it all back together again.A noticable improvement in performance. Windows loads way more quicker and Office apps much more responsive.If you are looking for a cost effective upgrade to an older HDD - can't go wrong here.

This SSD replaced an existing 1Tb conventional HD in my desktop PC. The PC has 16Gb RAM so I wasn't sure how much improvement I'd get apart from faster startup, but almost everything seems smoother. Doesn't come with any software unlike some other brands but I downloaded EaseUS Todo Home Backup free edition and it worked perfectly. Of course cloning a 1Tb HD takes several hours. Can't comment on reliability as only had it a few days (hence 4*) but very pleased.

Not the fastest but faster than traditional HDD, it's a nice big SSD for a very good price
