Brandt 77X2277 Butler De Dietrich Oven Fan Oven Heater Element

Perfect fit into our De Dietrich 740 Oven, and everything now works as good as new.Fitting took about an hour, although a lot of that was finding an appropriate tool to get to the screws that secure the element (accessed from behidn the rear panel), as the slot to get the tools in is about the size of a 2p which sounds plenty, but it doesnt line up with the screw on the element very well - just to be clear, this is a letdown of the oven itself, not this item which fits exactly where the original one came out from.So forget the manufacturer original part at 2-3 times the price, there really is no need to encourage that pricing behaviour from manufacturers, especially not on an oven of the price it was when new. Buy this Brandt part and enjoy your oven all over again.

unit arrived quickly and was well priced. Threads were not very robust and one rounded easily but i was able to reform. works well and oven repaired for £21

Unfortunately- there is a manufacturing error with this product as the power wires are welded to the outside of the connectors rather than inside. This makes it too wide to slide through the slot at the back of the oven.
