If the indicator doesn't turn green, you can't do any thing moving forward. You can't pair the device with your phone so you don't know what status of the device is, i.e. you don't know if it is battery problem or the device problem.

Hi can this be used for luggage on a flight? Do I have to lock it outside or can drop inside luggage?

Hi! Yes it can. AIKO's Bluetooth range is about 90 feet when outdoors where there are no physical barriers. While indoors, the range is much shorter because the Bluetooth connection might be interfered with walls, etc. Inside a plane there might be a lot of interference but yes it can work.

It has space to put a chip card?
