Great solution for a running line for my dog.
I actually ordered the pulley for a running line for my dog. The smaller one I got at the hardware store was constantly sticking. I am using 1/4" coated steel cable, and the size is perfect. Pulley can be easily be taken off and put on the line without taking the line down. The bushing is smooth, and it moves easily, no matter how hard or at what angle my dog pulls. We have had a ton of rain, and it does not seem to affect performance at all.

With grease these aren't half bad for the price
You need to add grease to get these moving correctly, but for the price, they work great.

Not as sturdy as you might think!
A 74 lb. dog tore this up in 2 days on a runner.

Loud squeaking
It was very loud and squeaky. No bearings just metal on metal. If you don’t mind noise with it no problem. I used it for my clotheslines, man is it loud!
