This is a good example of "what you see is what you get". Branding and the overall appearance appears nice - particularly when you consider the price compared to an "official" Canon product. If you are looking for a gift for a photographer, I believe this would be well received, regardless if they are an amateur or a pro. Just keep in mind that takes a while for shipping, as it's being sent overseas. (I never understood that - It's an ocean, and only one at that!! Why do "we" say "overseas"???) Anyway, I feel you will be pleased.

This item is not as pictured. It is advertised as being labeled Nikon but it's actually labeled Canon. Very disappointing.

I asked for a Canon model and it arrived de Nikon model!!
