I was so impressed with the other Egyptian pillow cover that I bought from oFloral that I came back and bought this scarab beetle one as well. I would highly recommend them. The material is thin, like a bed pillowcase and very soft, not burlap and scratchy like a different brand I bought. Colors are very vibrant, no blurring whatsoever in the details. Zippers are small & well hidden. I love that they are printed on BOTH sides. I put an old pillow inside of it. It was thicker so it was a tight fit. The thinner pillow I had was somewhat loose. I can't verify exactly what size they were but I think they were both 18 × 18. I would maybe take the case along when you buy an insert. If the insert you buy doesn't fit, return the insert, keep this case. It is beautiful!

I love the design of this pillow case but I had to order others that were nicer to the touch. The design and look are superior but the touch isn't. It feels cheap and irritates my skin. If they change the fabric, adjust the price of you have to, but then you would have a great pillow case.

The pillowcases are currently being displayed decoratively, but they are very soft and could be used as sleep pillows also. The Egyptian symbols with their vivid colors are positive and meaningful to anyone interested in learning about this ancient culture.

I live the look but I feel like if I even lay on the pillow hard it will tear
