Nice Addition to my Tool Closet
I have several Dewalt battery operated tools. I purchased this to replace my corded saw. Works just as well, and compatible with all my other tools.

Good for cutting roots.
I'm very happy with this purchase. I've been using it to cut the roots of a large drowned pine tree. My only complaint is the batteries don't last long enough. The good news is I have two batteries and that's enough to get the job done.
