VERY pleased
I shot my first gig this past weekend with this monopod and I cannot be more happy. It out-performs the manfrotto that I have in almost every aspect. The monopod is very well made and solid. The bottom legs are larger than manfrottos and allows the monopod to stand on its own. The bottom allows for swiveling the mono for tilts. The most important plus for me is the fluid head can pan left and right where the M monopod I have wont do that and only tilt up and down. The only adjustment I had to make was slightly tightening one of the leg clamps' screws. After adjusting it - it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.*** EDIT ***I just saw that included in the carry bag is an extra camera plate in case you loose the already included one. Excellent addition to an already great product. BTW - I did not get a discount in order to receive a 5-start review

Excellent 3-Legged Monopod
This was better than expected! Excellent value for a solid piece of equipment.

Well made and overall very sturdy
I received the product without any issues. Boxed and shipped well. All parts, case etc were there. It is a very nice sturdy case...just make sure everything is folded correctly. It does support a heavier camera though I haven't tried it yet with my Canon Mark 6dII with 150-600 mm lenses. I have used it with a Nikon P1000 (3.1lbs). Everything seems well made operates without issue. The 3 small legs provides better support/stability then just a normal monopod. And it extends to a good height since I'm a tall guy (6'3")....which is one reason I bought this one. Having said that though fully extended of course it reduces overall stability with a heavier camera setup. Not really the products fault..just a matter of physics I guess. Still it is an improvement over a regular type monopod but not as sturdy as a good tripod. But I do like it and will continue to use...I will try to find situations where I can shoot at a lower height for better stability. At this price point I was pleased with the product.

Good Monopod, HORRIBLE customer service
This product is excellent bang for buck and worked well for a few shoots. However it did wear down quite wuick with regular use and the bottom has already become loose and one of the feet is so loose on the bottom that it extends without removing the lock. So I turned to the warrenty and filled out a warrenty card with all of the information and emailed their support and have had no response. The company that makes this product has awful customer service and is disloyal to they consumers. Would not reccomend

Stand is too small. Shame.
Very well built and tough, but the stand is too small to hold the monopod stable with a camera on top of it. I found it too risky to operate, and returned it.

Not sturdy
I always had a problem with the legs slipping closed with any sort of pressure applied, like resting the weight of your arm in the camera. Then, in my eight month of ownership, while extending the leg, two pieces just separated.

The BEST MONOPOD!
Best overall monopod! The legs are not loose even when put 15pounds of camera gear. My friend bought one and I borrowed it that how I heard about this monopod. I loved it better than the Berno brand since that one the legs at the bottom are not sturdy.
