Menzerna Power Gloss 1000 Compound (Quart)

I used it on a boat painted with awlgrip. The past couple of years I used the Menzerna 4000 which did a great job bringing back the shine to my black paint. This year I went after some of the fine scratches with the 1000, which is more aggressive. It did what I wanted. It took out scratches the 4000 did not, and it did not hurt the paint. I used a wool pad with the 1000 and a foam pad with the 4000. Menzerna makes quality products. I apply awlcare polymer sealant afterwards. There are a bunch of good polymer sealants. I think they are better than wax, especially for a boat. The suggestion that I use Menzerna came from a highly respected long time fiberglass man and boat painter in Massachusetts.

I have been using Menzerna products for years. This product is great. I purchased a used Miata from a friend that was loaded withscatches. This product along with a good orange and yellow pad ex Chemical Guys plus an orbital polisher managed to remove 90% of them Afterwards, start with Menzerna FG400 and finish with this P3800 and you will achieve the highest practical gloss you will likely get - ever. Be sure to use a good pad. Its worth the investment.
