bCODA Multishare USB Jak, Smartphone/Tablet Content Streaming Device via Wi-Fi

It's interesting. Not sure how useful yet, but it does seem to work mostly as advertised. Creating / updating / using folders could use some work on the software side.It requires disconnecting from any other WiFi network to use (on the phone), so it ends up being a little limiting. Newer Android auto disconnects from WiFi networks that have no Internet connectivity, so it requires changing some settings that are not convenient.

Could not find the app to run these devices. Waste of money.

It doesn't work anymore with iTunes.

This device does not work. Period. It did not deliver on its promise in any way. I tried it on 4 different devices and it did not work!!

Streams mp3s, videos, pictures, or any file from your phone to your TV or PC. The usb device acts as a wifi AP, to which your phone connects. On the TV or PC, files appear as they would with any USB storage drive. Files are made available by selectively adding them to custom playlists, which are enabled by taping the transmit button. Additionally, there are 3 preconfigured playlists that automatically add your music photos and videos.My Jak is connected to a PC running XBMC, and phone: a Nexus 4 (android). As an experiment I recorded a few short 720p and 1080 mpg videos from local TV stations (mythtv recording OTA from a hdhomerun device). They played as if the videos were direct. MP3s play equally well.For work:You're finishing up a document on your PC, saving it to Google Drive / Drop Box / Box ..which starts syncing. You run to a meeting, hand the Jak to the presenter while your phone is still syncing and downloading (which you need to do to select the document for streaming), and by the time the pc is ready, the file is there!Keep important documents on your phone for those times in meetings when someone needing a file, can't get their laptop to connect to the network. I received this as a gift from a client located at Luxembourg, didn't even know this thing existed. I use it for my workout when I am traveling. The quality is awesome!

Great product!! Super simple to use. I just downloaded the app and plugged the usb JAK into my TV and I could play my music, share my pictures, and play my videos that are on my phone. Who needs Apple TV this is half the price and works just as well and I can take it anywhere.

Finally I can share my pics, music & docs from my android tablet. App keeps getting better and the menus are easy to get around. Don't need to carry around my laptop just this tiny Jak multi share device.
