Easy replacement for old Nutone Door Chime.
Drop in replacement for my Nutone door chime from 2002. Works well with 2 gen Google Nest door bell -- it has the space to put the device Google Nest provides when adapting the Door Chime to Google Nest. I'm also running a 16V/10VA transformer. Super easy installation -- whole project took me five minutes.

Fit exactly where the old one was perfect fit
The installation truck 10 minutes to install and fit exactly like the old one was mounted. Same screw holes nothing to it. Seems a bit louder than my old one internally and the value of the product was incredible their needs a $300 doorbell?

Works great, but LOUD
The doorbell was bigger than expected, but still looks good and works great. My only complaint is that it is soo loud in my 2,000 sq ft house and there is no way to adjust the volume. Your only choices are chime on or chime off.

Easy installation and good sound
Easy to install. Replaced existing unit so wiring was in place. Loud enough.

fixed ring door camera ringing the bell
had ring door bell camera, wouldn't ring mechanical door bell, replaced the transformer, still didn't ring, now the ring doorbell camera rings it fine, like the old sound of a real bell

Rear chime didnt make a sound until modifications were made.
Installation was pretty easy however one chime seems to not make a sound. Seems the spring was too strong or the mechanism wasn't strong enough to makenit strike the metal. I had to trim down the spring to weaken it just aonit would make contact with the metal for the sound. I may have recieved a defective unit.

WORKS with Ubiquiti Unifi G4 Doorbell Pro!
I used the “NEWHOUSE Hardware CHM3D Door Chime”as the chime for my Ubiquiti Unifi G4 Doorbell Pro. This chime was listed as a “Compatible Chime” on the Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell Pro product page.After proper wiring (don’t forget the tiny Unifi Black Box), the chime functioned as expected.The item is very simple. There are no premium features, and no unique eye-catching design touches on the blank white plastic cover.The bell rings and the box becomes unobtrusive and invisible over time. I found no difference in the volume of the chime over the late 1980s chime the NEWHOUSE chime replaced.I wish the manufacturer placed the logo on one of the sides of the item instead of the horizontal bottom right position. I had to install my chime vertically and it would have been nice not to see the logo vertically positioned “on its side.”

Two time ordered, two times arrived broken
This is the second one of these I have ordered and both have arrived broken. The bottom chime bar is not attached on one end making it useless since it cannot make the dinging sound. It's ironic that both I have received were broken in the exact same place in the same way. I am done with these, I won't order another one.
