Nothing wrong with this wire, but it is NOT what you would think RAZER wire should be. I'm sure you can't buy Razor wire on the open market, so this is the closest wire to it. Besides, it would cost 4 to 5 times more that this wire. That being said, it looks like razor wire from a distance, and for that, maybe it could discourage encroachment. Razor wire is sharpened on the edges of the triangular spikes protruding from the wire. This wire's spikes are NOT sharpened and will NOT cut as per Razor Wire intention, but will poke holes in material and skin by the point end of the triangular spike, similar to normal Barbed Wire. I will use it, IF NEEDED, but DON'T think you are getting REAL RAZOR WIRE you see being used around protected areas.

Very good product and it helps keep anything that try to get near it out, very sharp but good use.

Great quality! I needed something to up the security of my fences at my business abd barb wire just didn't cut it. Sharp enough to leave you tabgles in a mess but not sharp enough to cut you like a razor . High recommend this razor wire.. for the price you can't beat it.

I bought the wire based on the picture. Having never used razor wire before, the picture shows to tied at the top and bottom. It is not. It comes coiled. It took viewing and reviewing many videos before I was able to install it properly, and the suggestion to purchase an additional 25% was accurate in my case.
