Followed the instructions for assembly and it cuts a straight line without having to clamp it to the piece of wood. Saves a lot of time marking and clamping a piece of wood to the plywood to ensure a straight line.

Great tool, but as others have mentioned, there is a fair amount of play. By the time I used it, I’d forgotten about this, and cut too much of a bevel on my door. Either put downward or leftward pressure to keep the saw from dipping to the right. Other than this, it worked great. I was surprised how well the grippy strips held the track in place. No need for track clamps.

I am not a carpenter. I don't make things to sell, so I have no basis to judge this in terms of a professional. But for someone who can't rip straight with a circular saw, and is slightly afraid of a table saw, this was the perfect solution. I needed to rip several 4x8 sheets of plywood into 3" strips. This was the exact right set up.Instructions are good. Easy to follow. My amateur Ryobi circular saw fit into the guide and off we went. Very pleased with this purchase

This sure does help making long straight cuts on plywood. It grips very well to the surface it is sitting on.

Supper easy to use. Must have 7 1/2” blade to cut counter tops since the toboggan pushes you up 3/8ths. Tacky pad runs entire length of the aluminum guide. I recommend clamping each end, and adding a few pieces of green tape to provide positive hold. Especially with hardwoods, Maple Butcher block. Keep the trackpad cleaned with Windex and you will have straight cuts.

I heard a lot of great reviews about the Kreg Accu-Cut Track Guide and was excited to buy it—it seemed like a no-brainer. But for $180, I’m shocked at the quality. It’s mostly cheap, lightweight plastic that feels like it’ll crack if it gets too cold or takes a hit—and let’s be real, on a job site, it’s going to take a hit. I don’t see this lasting more than a year in that environment.Another issue—minor but still annoying for the price—is that you have to apply the “anti-slip” strips yourself. It’s not the worst thing, but I had to mess with it way longer than I should have. And then there’s the fact that they sell the clamps separately—seriously? The anti-slip pads don’t actually stop it from slipping, so you have to spend more money on clamps that should’ve been included. Feels like a cheap, nickel-and-dime move.Also, you can’t really do a plunge cut. I had hoped I could line it up and drop the saw down—not the case (my bad for assuming). This is pretty much a shop tool, not a job site tool. That said, it does cut straight.Also, the instructions for setup suck!
