USB Reader V2.0 Smart Card Reader CAC

This CAC reader works great on my Windows 8.1 computer once I was able to find all of the necessary certificates which took a lot of looking for.

when we tried to use it. it didn't work. I didn't think they had to be programed.

I just purchased this product, and am going to return it. I came with _zero_ instructions. I searched, and scrolled way down on militarycac.com, and finally found it this model. They say it will not work on Windows 7, and I should get a more modern reader. Entirely inadequate information in the description.

exactly what I needed. Works on multiple devices. does not require software download on windows 7 and above.

Light weight and works exactly as expected. On Windows 7 the driver downloaded and installed automatically. The only thing better would be an internal reader.

I have used numerous USB readers and have had them all fail. NOT THIS ONE!!! It has performed flawlessly.

arrived on time, great prices

worked as expected, however, the sticky tape adhered to an external hard drive in my bag, and when I pulled the USB reader off it came apart way too easy. This was a pretty inexpensive purchase though, so it is not as if I expected a great deal of durability out of it, and once I snapped everything back in place it continues to operate, so all in all I would say it is worth the price.
