Fantastic multi-tool.
Great Leatherman, and very appealing! The Damascus steel looks excellent with the darker steel of the Titanium Edition, and I've gotten a lot of compliments from the other guys at the jobsite about it. I would like to modify it with desert ironwood custom grips instead of the metal, but that's neither here nor there. The one complaint I have about this particular tool is the knife blade. The one I received was ground with a slight curve in the blade (no more than a fraction of a millimeter), causing it to scrape against the handle when I open and close the blade. While the cutting edge doesn't scrape, so it's not getting dulled when using the action, the left-hand finish of the blade is getting a lot of streaking because of the repeat grinding against the metal. I will account for it with my custom handles, but this was annoying given that the tool is so expensive and to correct it I would have to alter the shape of the blade.Additionally, as others have pointed out, the tool needs a little oil out of the box. A couple squirts of WD40 followed by opening and closing the joints a few times helped a lot.I'm quite pleased with this tool, and it's a gorgeous customization to an already fantastic multi-tool. Worth the price, just beware of some slight QC issues that you may have to account for later.

Brilliant piece of kit.
The kit comes with the Leatherman Charge TTi with the two Damascus blades installed, leather case, belt clip, lanyard ring and bit kit. You do lose the hook cutter that is supposed to be on the serrated blade but I personally don't think it's a great loss. I actually like and prefer the serrated blade design that way. Considering the two Damascus blades would be $99 each by themselves and the Charge TTi is $179, this complete Leatherman Charge TTi is a fantastic bargain.Texas Tool Crafters did process my order very quickly and I received the package in less than a week. However in the rush to send it out they didn't do a great job in fitting the blades into the multitool. The frame locks wouldn't fully engage on both blades and it felt a little gritty deploying the blades. Luckily I'm a tinkerer and with a little attention to detail, some work carefully grinding and polishing some of the surfaces and thinly rubbing in some grease for lubrication and surface protection the blades deploy very smoothly and the frame locks now engage with an authoritative click with no slop of movement when locked. I did thoroughly enjoy the little project and with putting a little of myself into this Leatherman I have the distinct pride that this multitool is uniquely mine.I have a collection of Leatherman tools consisting of the MUT and a couple of Waves that I keep in kits for practical utility purposes but the unique materials of titanium and the two Damascus blades in this Charge model gives this multitool a wonderful exotic look and makes this a prize Leatherman I would really appreciate carrying. This is my first Damascus knife and I hope the unique properties of the Damascus metal is authentic and advantageous to have.Overall I think it was a great purchase and I'm glad Texas Tool Crafters offers this product for Leatherman multitools. I'm hoping they would make a Damascus blade for my Leatherman MUT (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).
