Great Scale!! Highly recommend if you are on a tight budget, need a quality scale!
Sure you can get cheaper scales out there, but this one sets itself apart by having that extra cable that links the actual scale to the readout/battery/brains. It may no work for some set-ups, but I can say as a small time seller that's used various scales - this one is kind of special. It's very affordable in terms of a GOOD scaleIt's extremely flexible having that separate readout unit - can be mounted on another surface like a wall - but most helpful is that one or two odd sized boxes that hog the readout on single unit scales - don't even have to worry about that - I haven't come close to needing that cable being anything but hanging free and loose - Max size box I ship is about 24" x 24" x 24" (very rare) or around that range - maybe not so cubical but has about the same amount of space inside. The only downside I can see on this unit is that yes, it does have plastic components. BUT, I sense for my needs and usage demands - it's absolutely perfect. The plastic used is quality and there is metal for those critical areas of a scale - but this suits my needs just fine. There are HIGHER grade (all metal) scales out there with pure solidness that only comes from the "pro" level. But I'm not a business or company at this point - just a small time seller having fun making just enough to cover those expenses and gain a little bonus at the end of the day/night. It beats having yet another "report to work" type job I loathe. In this day and age, I don't know many that have just one job. Most are like me with many little "side hustles" to get by. This scale will get you there and then some. I do have another scale, but I think I'm going to give it a friend that's just starting out as I don't really use it at all since I got this one. My O/G scale was from 2020 and still has the original batteries working fully functional - great unit itself BUT its a all-in-one unit. Found myself using my iphone to get the readout on some of the packages I was shipping, lol.I hope this one lasts me a good 3 years, even better if its MORE!!! Totally worth it - would not hesitate to get another should the need come up. If this unit lasts 6 moths for me, I figure its all paid for - what comes after that is all gravy, yum! :)

No regrets.....only happiness with this scale!!!!
I bought this scale to provide myself with a more accurate shipping weight as I sell things on ebay. I have had a few others that were almost identical in price and those have not been near as accurate as this one. This thing is as close as you can expect one to be to the usps's office scale. When I take a package in I always ask them what the weight of the package was so I could use that to more accurately use this set I have at home. Each time it has not been more than 0.2 off (that is 2/10 of an ounce). Considering they do not go by tenths but rather by whole ounces when determining your price this is how I use this scale at home and it has not led me wrong not one time:If package weighs 10.5 on my scale I buy label as if my package weighs 11 ounces. The post office does price based off of whole numbers so say you have an 8.9 ounce package....your going to be charged at the rate of a 9 ounce package. So basically anything over .0 and you are going to pay for that extra ounce.Battery Life:I have had this scale for at least 2 months but probably more like 3 months and I am still using the same batteries as when I first bought it and that is with at least once a day use and actually more like 3-4 times a day of turning unit on weighing and off and on and off and so on. The unit has an automatic shut off after so long (which by the way is not very much time.....maybe 30 seconds-1 minute and if no movement has been detected or if no buttons have been pressed this machine will cut itself off to save energy. This is a great feature as almost every single time I use it I forget to turn the unit off.Modes:It features 4 different modes. This has to be one of the greatest things about this affordable unit because I have literally used every single mode multiple times. It hasgrams (0)Lb/Ozs, (0 lb: 0.0 ozs) this is the one I use the most for my needsLB (0.00)andKG (0.000)Ease of Use:This unit is very easy to use and could be used by many age ranges of people. It is as simple as pushing the on button....waiting for the unit to display 00000 (at startup it will read all 888888). Once it goes to 0000 I always (probably more out of having ocd than anything) usually hit the tare button to zero everything out just in case then you choose which mode you want for your particular needs....sit your item on the scale and wait a split second for your weight to be shown on the display screen. If you want you can even hit the hold button and the display screen will continue to show your last weight even after your package has been removed **as long as you of course hit hold before removing your item from the scale :)In closing I do not regret choosing this scale not one bit. I am very pleased with its performance and even more pleased with the price the unit cost me. You cannot go wrong buying this scale as it is perfect for small business/office use and is as accurate as most of the higher priced scales that cannot weigh even half of the max weight this one can withstand (110 lbs)

Amazingly accurate considering it's range
I have to start selling stuff on Ebay and needed to get a scale that weighs up to 70 pounds. As a road cyclist who is a weight weenie, I own several gram scales for weighing boutique bike parts costing up to several thousand dollars. To compare, I re-weighed several bike parts which I weighed earlier on my high-quality Ohaus scales. On this Smart Weigh scale, they were only off by a gram or so! Moreover, those bike parts scales aren't designed to weigh anything more than 15-20 pounds or so. As the Smart Weigh scale can weigh things up to 110 pounds, it's performance at the sub 10 pound range is impressive indeed. At first glance, the scale looked kinda cheap, however the main scale or weighing mechanism is pretty hefty. I really like the ability of the scale to weigh in pounds and ounces, because those are the units that USPS uses to calculate freight. I don't like batteries because they often leak and destroy products and appliances, so I have the option with this product to use the power adapter or brick instead. I've weighed large bike frame boxes or wheelset boxes on this scale, and the LCD screen which you can place far away from the scale for visibility is a real plus. The scale starts up at 0 every time and never strays from it so I rarely have to re-tare the scale. From a functional standpoint, the scale has been simple to use and a solid performing product so far.
