* 10/20/21 * Husband received his second order from supplier and we were pleasantly surprised to see a handwritten note and a few extra "goodies" from the supplier thanking us! Now that was nice!This is exactly what my husband wanted! He says it's like the Freshen Up Gum and it was a good trip down memory lane. It was soft and he was extremely pleased. He said that he didn't get the 50 pieces that was supposed to be in the box, he got 54. I gave it four stars because the box was pretty beat when we got it.

Theses are the best fake freshen up gum.I have a hard time chewing gum. This has got the best texture it won't stick and doesn't get hard, and keeps its flavor.

When I was little I went to church with my Great Grandma. She always had the Freshen Up gum to give us to keep us quiet during the service. They discontinued that gum quite some time ago and since my granny passed I’ve been searching everywhere for it. I found this gum and thought I would give it a shot. I’m pleased to say it taste just like it! Thank you for the nostalgia! The box did come damaged but the the gum was safe inside, I was nervous at first.

Arrived squashed! Flavor is like Freshen up, which is what I was after and yummy... it said peppermint but was spearmint. Most of them had juice squished out or leaking out. Disappointed in shipping, doubt it was mailed that way.

I was a kid when Freshen Up gum was around. I would sometimes look for it on the hard to find candy stores but never found it. This gum does have the same flavor as the Freshen Up brand but with larger pieces. This brand also uses pure sugar I think because once in awhile you will get a crunch of sugar crystals here and there. I purchased the green which is the spearmint and the pink tutti-frutti. I remember Freshen Up having a bubble gum flavor as well but I love mint and usually will choose it. Both were a joy and brought me back to childhood. I will probably buy again. Don’t tell my dentist!
