Connections are on the bottom
I bought this and successfully fixed my kitchen light, as I could not find a compact LED light with at least 3500 lumens, although it must exist. The connections are on the bottom of the ballast rather than the sides, so I suspended the ballast on nuts so there is space for the wires. I'm hoping it will increase the airflow as well. Keep that in mind when choosing electronic ballasts- sometimes you have a few choices and wire location may be the difference. This one is running two 26 watt CFLs with 4 pins each. Aside from my wire location screw-up it was very easy to install. The wire receptacles are color-coded, although the ground wire receptacle is grey (Still obvious because your choices are Black, White, and Grey for the input wires.

Worked out fantastic and beats installing a whole new lighting unit.
My husband was certainly hoping that this was going to work even after a contractor wasn’t aware that these particular lights had an inverter in it. So we took a chance in ordering it and thank goodness it worked.

Good Product, Bad Packaging
This is good product and I have ordered over a dozen. The only issue is they come poorly packaged from the seller (not amazon) but they have all worked.

As Advertized
Replaced the ballast on a CVL can light with this one and now there is light again.

Wiring pins are on the back and not on the sides.
Wiring pins are on the back of unit and not on the sides making it impractical to use. Not clear in the description. Will have to consume time to return item. Not good

Hard to Find Locally
No local store stocks these. Fortunately, Amazon does! Thus, my CFL light fixtures now work again.

Simply put easy to install/works as designed
job consisted of turning off power, removing wires from bad EB and connecting this EB restoring power. Total time about 5 minutes...Not a bad time for an old retired man(0:
