Why did it take me 25 Years to Find this? Almost 90% healed within 1 Month.
Anyone reading this: I've had plaque psoriasis since I was 10, and it's been getting progressively worse to the point where it was covering (dermatologist estimate) 25% of my body. I had been on biologic medicine earlier in life, but they caused chronic sinus infections. I'd used topical steroid medications (every one of the month) for years, before I gave up in that department, because they would help briefly, and then stop working. During a major flareup two months ago, I was at the sauna/hot tub trying to get some relief, and the gym manager had to ask me to only return when I had a doctor's note, because the other members thought I had an infectious disease. Needless to say, that one hurt. Combined with the pain of sitting on tons of cracking skin while trying to take care of a newborn, I decided to do a deep dive for any other possible solutions. In the past, the only time the psoriasis cleared partially was during the summer with regular sunlight. But in the NYC winter, it wasn't going to happen, so I read that tanning beds could offer some relief, but the UVA rays don't helps as much as actual sunlight... Except when paired with coal tar. Well, just then the Corona quarantine hit, so no-go on the tanning bed, but I'd just received the coal tar in the mail, so I decided to give it a try, solo.I used it 2x day after showering and within 5 days (the other review was very accurate on that), all of the plaque was gone, and the red spots remained, though considerably lighter. Within 1.5 weeks, almost every cracked, scaley spot has been reduced to a white spot with some minor red spots remaining. And, as a pleasant side-effect, the psoriasis in my armpits (which I avoided applying the coal tar to because the thin was so thin) has also cleared considerably--perhaps because the inflammation cycle elsewhere got interrupted. As is the way with psoriasis medication, I've been waiting for it to flare up again, while I keep putting it on once/day. But 1.5 months into it, it's still looking incredible. I've seen my elbows for the first time in my adult life. Absolutely miraculous. All I can figure for why this isn't more popular is that there isn't money in it for the pharmaceutical companies, and because it smells a bit like a car repair shop. But honestly, could you get over the smell (which isn't really all that bad) if it made it so you could bend your joints without feeling your skin crack open? Just put it on at night, and you're good to go. No pain, visually much, much better. I'm floored. I couldn't recommend this highly enough. And at $7.50, what do you have to lose?Who knows if it works this well for everyone, but for someone who's tried everything until this, I'm extremely grateful.

MG217 Anti Psoriasis cream: stinks a bit but it does work for psoriasis....slowly, 4.2 stars
This stuff comes in a small jar and the cream itself is a sort've light yellow-ish gel or cream that stinks a bit. The odor isn't terribly strong, so you won't clear a room, but has a distinct chemical smell to it.Goes on thin and looks like vaseline when its rubbed on.Takes at least a few days for it to start to work but it will get the skin on your hands healing after a while. Doesn't seem to be that great at stopping flare ups or swelling though. At least not on my skin. But everyone's skill reacts a little different to this stuff. Personally I use CeraVe Psoriasis cream to deal with swelling or flare ups and then rub this stuff on to get the skin healing.I've tried lots of other creams and this is the 1st one to do a decent job on actually healing the skin instead of just making the swelling and redness go down.

I had a skin rash from sock that my doing did not like. This took care of it in a short amount of time.

7 to 10 days using, hands got better
I used this product on my hands, feet, and elbows for eczema flare-up. I would apply twice a day. I noticed the swollen redness was visually better in a week or so of using. I have never used this coal tar product before, but I am happy with results. I have used the MG217 salyitic lotion in the past, and was happy with that as well, so I wanted to try this coal tar product from MG217. My hands still get red when in water, but the rest of the day, they look clear of the redness and swelling. The redness in water will get better when my flare up is over.Keep in mind that this is coal tar. So, it does have a 'gasoline/ petroleum' smell to it. That being said, I would not apply product if I was going out in public. You'll smell like you were working on your lawnmower! But, for me, the tradeoff for smelling like gas is a fair trade off that it really helped my skin. I would apply product when I knew I would home for the day.I never had luck with other expensive name brand products that say 'eczema care' on the label. Most of them contain oatmeal, which doesn't help me at all. Or they contain hydrocortisone as the active ingredient. That doesn't heal, it just controls itching. These types of products are extremely overpriced with fancy labels to sell them.MG217 did help me.
