Product works good, be careful who you buy it from
So the product itself is great, it works exactly as described and while the ewelink app can be extremely slow to respond it does eventually respond and the relay clicks with authority.Be mindful the seller you buy this from and if possible buy it direct from Migro, much better support and genuine products.

Awesome for pool heater and pool pump
I can tell Alexa to turn off and on my equipment or do it from anywhere on my phone. All the contractors were impressed when I gave them this to install .. install to the app was easy ..

Inferior product
After numerous attempts of trying to pair this device with my phone as directed by the instructions, it would not work. Complete waste of my time and I am very displeased with this product. I rate this -5 stars.

Unit was shipped opened and unsecured
The unit was shipped in its own box, and not reboxed. That's fine, but the box was not sealed. No tape or anything to keep anybody from opening it up. It doesn't appear that anybody did, unless they took the instructions out.....there were no instructions other than a three panel graphic on the box. UPDATE: instsructions online after you scan qr code, which I didn't see right away. So now i'm searching for some instructions. Also, inside the unit, altho the wifi module was screwed into place, the contactor was not, so it was loose and rolling around during shipment. This caused the metal prongs to become bent. I've not installed the unit yet, but hopfully it's robust and was not damaged. I'd had to ruin my pool pump motor due to this thing being damaged. Ugh. I"ll update my review after installation. UPDATE: Followed instructions to set up wifi, took awhile, but finally got it to work. TIP: turn off cell data before trying to pair the device. It appears to be working fine, and I was pleasantly surprised that Siri can control it verbally. :)

It works (with issues)
I bought this to control a 115vac 2hp air compressor. And if you have ever thought "did I turn the compressor off" before you go to bed and then about 1am hear "BRRRRRRRRRR" and get groused at by your spouse to go and turn that damn thing off gave me the drive to hunt down a remote control solution. I really fought with giving this two stars instead of three because of the issues I found with this. I'll go over the reason I gave it three stars.IT WORKS! And works well. I had no issues with getting it setup, tied to my network or tied to Alexa. Worked the first try. I did the initial tests with it and worked flawlessly! I was really happy to be able to tell Alexa to turn on/off the compressor or use the app to do it. I even made a routine that if I did forget to turn it off, at 11pm every night it would turn it off regardless! I even sat in the garage the first night to witness it happening. 3...2...1..*KLUNK* (yes, the relay makes a very noticeable KLUNK in operation.) Those things alone really wanted me to give it 4+ stars. Then I started noticing all the issues,The issues:1. The shipping: Like others have said, it comes in its own box just like the picture. No other packaging and the box IS NOT sealed. If it opens and stuff falls out...oh well. Fortunately for me that did not happen. again, not a deal breaker but "weh".2. The app: So far, I have seen no way to get into it and give the controller a fixed IP. DHCP ONLY!. Deal breaker? No, but I wanted to give it a fixed IP. I got around it by giving it a permanent lease on the IP it was assigned. "Weh".3. The enclosure: Its low-grade. I don't know about those foam fingers or that removable knock out on the bottom but its just awful and thin. For 129 bucks you would think that a more substantial SOLID enclosure would have been used even if you had to drill out your own holes for the cables. I drilled out the removable lower left "knock out" and and it never really went back in right. The other access I drilled out was okay. Still, MEH at best!4. Assembly: The wires were all crimped and clean and even strapped. Good! The remote control assembly was securely mounted. Cant say that about the relay though. You will notice that there is a grid of mounting holes and they only caught one of them. Two of the other mounting screws were in the "slots" and the screw threads barely bit into it. If you remove one it wont tighten back up sufficiently. And the fourth screw? I don't know because there wasn't a fourth screw. So effectively, the relay was only held with one screw. The other two were decorative. BAD! I fixed it by taking a scrap piece of plexiglass that I had, trimmed it to 3.5x4.5 inches centered it over 4 mounting holes and drilled to run #8x1 sheet metal screw into four mounting holes (don't screw in the upper right one yet, the upper right relay mounting hole will go to that one!). Then, centered the relay up and drilled the other three mounting holes and locked that relay down with three #10x 1/4 sheet metal screws (could have used #8s but I didn't have any 1/4" ones. Just in #10). Leave the two bottom ones off for now.5. Ground bonding: NON EXISISTANT! I could have added a terminal strip to bond the grounds up but I did a continuity check on the metallic relay pad. HEY ITS ONE PIECE and will make an excellent place to bond up the grounds to. That is when you will find out about the relay mounting. BAD! Fix it by using #10 crimp rings and tying it to the two bottom screws (the ones I suggested you hold off on mounting) SOLID NOW and grounds bonded securely.6. EXPOSED TERMINALS: If you open it up to use the manual ON/OFF switch you are going to be staring at line voltage on the top two terminals, both of them if its on with nothing covering it to prevent you from being stupid. And when you set it up, you are DEFINATELY going to be looking at line voltage! Yeah I know not to touch them, you know not to touch them but what if you moved your hand the wrong way...WHACK! What if you asked your kid to turn it on/off locally and they goofed...WHACK! I am assuming the risk on this and I need to make some kind of guard cover for this. BAD...REALLY BAD!7. Relay: In the item description it says that its 40A resistive, 120vac 5HP. Looking at the relay itself, not exactly what is listed. Yes full load amperage is 40A but its rated on 120v single phase at 2HP. Where's the other 3HP! My air compressor is 2HP so I'm assuming the risk. Will it blow up? I doubt it but if you say 5HP don't give me a 2HP relay! That's why I bought this unit, to ensure it will definitely handle 2HP. MEH!!8. Value for item: After I got this thing I found a few things. You can get three of those SONOFF controllers for 20 bucks. As for the relay, you can get an equivalent one for at most, 40 bucks so 46 bucks to have the gizzards. Did I really pay 83 bucks for that low grade enclosure, and an external WIFI antenna? (BTW, it connected right up without it). Is this really worth 129 bucks? I'll leave that for you to decide especially if you aren't handy with gathering parts and piecing together your own home rolled remote relay but be assured it will work. I know if I need another one, Its only going to cost me 46 bucks.Summary: All these issues was driving me to give it 2 stars. But, thankfully, I was able to overcome (except for the enclosure) the issues I found and even modded it with a nifty little neon glow lamp I had (a lot of) to let me know from a glance that the compressor relay is active. The 120vac warning sticker was a bit overkill but I had them so on it went just for CYA. It works with modifications/corrections that are well in my range of capability/expertise and so far, works very well. So that's why I gave it a SOLID three.

This is pretty Slick!
What's better than telling Alexa to turn on/off your pool pump? NOTHING!
