CRAZY! Amazing product!
I was looking for clear glass marbles that would disappear in water. The ones I purchased did not do that so I returned them and ordered these. When they arrived I thought....what the....they are like granules and come in a small bag. What the heck! So I scooped out 2 tablespoons and added some water....well very quickly I had to transfer them into a bigger container....then a LARGE bowl! It is CRAZY how much they expand and they are 100% transparent. In less than 24 hours the 2 tablespoons became like 2 gallons and I will have PLENTY for my project with plenty for future uses. My only complaint is that there aren't any instructions. That would be helpful just to have an idea of how much they will expand. Also, I left one out of water after it had fully expanded and within a few days it returned back to its granule size. I haven't tried re-hydrating it yet but I am assuming it would expand again once exposed to water. It would be nice if that were also included in some instructions as to what the life expectancy is because they are jelly and not solid. At any rate, I am very happy and feel it was definitely a good choice and a great value.

Peas to Plump to peas
I bought these for a specific project. When my son brought home flowers, I needed a way to arrange them in a clear vase that was a little too roomy. I thought of these and poured some into the vase with water. I walk away for a few minutes and when I came back, they were plump. They held the flowers in place surprisingly well. When I tossed the flowers and strained the water, they shrunk back down. Not quite as tiny as they were originally, but still very small.I actually bought these bc they are clear and can hold some pretty blue stones in another vase. The idea (maybe from this listing?) is for the rocks to look suspended. I’m not sure why I thought they wouldn’t shrink after they dried, but that ruled them out, bc my project is a permanent shelf decoration, this is a non starter. I also want to note that these don’t ‘disappear’ like magic when submerged in water in a clear container. The shape is clearly visible and looks like a more elegant vase of clear marbles. I’ll find a use for them. :-)

A Little Goes A Long Way!
These polymer beads are exactly as described. Put a teaspoon full in a large container, add water and the beads will absorb many times their weight of water in a couple of hours. Each little bead swells to almost 1/2" in diameter - the size of a marble. So a little bit dried will make a huge amount when hydrated. They will dry out over time so you can use them over and over.If you order colored beads, they will appear more pastel when hydrated. Red will look pink, etc.The beads are really useful. I mix hydrated beads with potting soil to help the soil retain water longer. I make my own air fresheners by adding essential oils to already hydrated beads. (they only absorb water) I put them in clear glass vases to hold fresh flowers. They might look like tapioca based Boba but these beads are not edible. Keep them away from kids and pets.

Not as easy to work with, as one would think
The media could not be loaded. I so wanted to be obsessed with these and have them be my new favorite decor item. Saw these on TikTok and thought they would be fabulous and just had to try them. I was very excited to get them. I immediately soaked 2 tablespoons of beads which was way more than I needed. It filled three large vases, and then some.I found them to be hard to work with as they bounce easily so you’ll need to be super careful around kids and dogs as these can cause major harm if ingested. The other thing that I found was my water decor was either too light or too heavy, so obviously the heavy ones sunk to the bottom. Now that I have tediously taken apart all of the vases and sorted my filler, I have a very large bowl of beads that will have to dehydrate. After checking online, it appears it could take a minimum of two weeks for them to dry out.I honestly have to say they are more a pain in the arse than I anticipated. I rather doubt that I will use them again it’s just too much of a hassle.I would not buy them again, and I honestly can’t say I recommend them.
