I took a gamble on this product and glad I did. Such a bold gold and no matter how much you delute this powder it stays very vibrant. My uses include watercolor and pastel projects, but I can see myself using it endlessly on whatever future mediums I might choose. Just ordered the silver. Was surprised it is a powder, but a little goes a long long way, which makes the price reasonable.

I set out to try metallic paints to find the BEST for a series of projects I was about to work on. I was watching a YT video from Jean Lurssen and she introduced me to these powders. I wanted to compare the golds I was attempting to use to Schmincke. Would it look as good in my work as it appeared in video? I did just a few simple projects and was blown away at how beautiful the rich gold appears. The copper is also a show stopper. I particularly mixed them to a butter consistently and used them without water to provide texture in an abstract landscape. I was looking for shiny especially. These fill the bill! I started with the rich gold, then promptly ordered 3 more metallic colors. Thanks to Schmincke for producing such nice products!

Best powder I've found with a beautiful gold color.

Water soluble sparkle. I’ve used it for accents in my watercolor paintings. I love how it works and the sparkle it adds. Looks gold on paper.

A great value for the money. Most metallic water colors are very expensive and in a small container. A small amount of this product goes along and you can easily vary the opacity. The item arrived quickly and well packaged with a nice thank you note.

I got this to add sparkle to my watercolor cards. A little sure goes a long way. If I didn’t know any better I’d say it’s never been used. This stuff will happily last for many years!

I was looking for a perfect gold color to paint the halos on my icons, and after a few unsuccessful tries , I finally found it! Very easy to mix, but dries very fast, so it's important to find the right brush to spread it well, otherwise the streaks are visible and you'll have to do another coat

With just a tiny bit of water added, this powder brings a super result of opaque paint which looks like real gold! No odor, good for any surface. Does not penetrate surface/get soaked up on papers. Recommended! Bottle goes a long way.
