Allowed use of two USB ports that were close to each other
Worked fine. I bought it because my two USB drives were too wide to plug into ports that were next to each other. This solved the problem.

Very nice jumper
As you would expect, this cable is meant to be a port saver for a device that frequently changes interfacing devices. The cheap price helps justify buying multiple copies of this unit. The connection is solid and the cable itself is well built.

Fantastic cable to protect licensing dongles (vis iLok, Fusion)
I've purchased a couple of these now because I have a several licensing dongles that would stick rigidly out of a USB port otherwise. And after you break one licensing dongle and deal with the whole replacement process, you too will want to add a safety measure that lets the dongle dangle from the computer and not break when you move something quickly.The Good:- Short, flexible cable.- Dangling dongles won't break when you accidently hit them (or lift a laptop awkwardly).The Bad:- You're going to wind up buying one for every dongle you have.The Meh:- For the price, I wish they came in 2 packs. But they are WAY cheaper than lost time because your iLok is busted.

Quality, reasonably priced short extension
Quality, reasonably priced short extension. It works as expected and helps when I need to use my card reader while my ultrabook is plugged in (the AC and USB ports are too close together). Great for any large USB device on a computer with limited room around the USB ports. The cable is thick and sturdy feeling, but it would be nice if it was a bit more flexible.The advertised length is 6 inches, and that is the length when measured from the beginning of the insulation on the male end, to the end of the female jack (the insulation extends slightly past the end of the female jack). Total length of the cable from end to end is 6 and 5/8th inches.Note: When I bought mine it was available as an add-on item from Amazon.

Nice extension, did the job.
Very well made, nice length to extend and/or protect a laptop USB port. Didn't quite work out the way I wanted it to, but nothing to do with the product itself, it is excellent, and works fine.If you need a short USB-A extension, this is a great product for the price!
