Great for coffee
I noticed that on a few reviews the artificial, or bitter taste was mentioned. Whilst it doesn't taste exactly how a sugared version would taste, I didn't really expect it to. Diluted in coffee, it's really lovely and really does taste of caramel, I'm curious as to how other people are using it, but for my need it's perfect.

Delicious
I got it on sale but it was such a good substitute for the simply syrup range. It's not sickly. Has that depth and dark sweetness to it that you expect from a nice caramel. It's a shame that I can't screw my pump on, but that's not a deal-breaker. Just pour it into a pumpable bottle. Would strong recommend. Maybe like 3/4 -1 pump per coffee

Slimming World friendly
Great sugar free syrup so I can feel like I'm enjoying nice coffees but sticking to MY slimming World plan. If you add too much it can taste of artificial sweeteners.

Lovely taste, great in coffee!
These syrups are expensive but a little goes along way. You only need a little to add a nice sweetness to coffee/ yoghurt/pancake or waffle batter. They don't have that chemical taste you sometimes get with sugar free foodstuffs and are particularly nice in coffee.

Like pouring more water into coffee, flavourless
To be honest the only sugar free syrups worth getting are the skinny syrups by Jordan’s. Every single other brand I have tried, without fail are completely flavourless. This one is really useless, normally put 10mg of Jordan’s in my coffee and it’s perfectly tasty and sweet, with this syrup you could pour half the bottle in and not taste anything.

Great, clean tasting syrup. Used to put into a protein shake to add flavour

Read the description it's not the bottle pictured
Been buying 1883 syrups for many years and I know what the different bottles look like. They have 1lt glass, 700ml glass and 1lt plastic. The picture is very clearly of a 1lt plastic bottle. That's what I wanted however what I got was a 700ml glass bottle. I went back and checked the description and it was for 700ml. I complained to Amazon on the basis suppliers should not show a different item in pictures as its miss leading and got a full refund. I have said what I really want is for the supplier to update their images to the correct item. For 1lt the price is fine. For 700ml the price is a lot. Also I wanted plastic because it's not breakable. So please be careful and check the descriptions. To be fair I would expect them to have changed the image. I bought sugar free caramel. To be fair it's the best one on the market. I still prefer the normal but I'm trying to be healthy. What I like about 1883 is it's got a really perfect flavour in drinks. Nothing nasty or artificial and you dont need a lot compared to other syrups so even the normal ones are better than other brands as you need less of it. That also means it works better in drinks because it doesn't overpower them, you can still taste coffee! Or vodka... lol.

Not my favourite
I honestly think that it taste very artificial, only tried once and the full bottle is still sitting in cupboard. I don’t think the flavour itself is back, it’s the sweetener that’s quite unpleasant
