Pros !It's a good keyboard for the money you pay.It is slim and quiet (it's a membrane keyboard) but precise when you type.It has a very fast response.It has RGB Backlight 5 zones I can work with that... actually, you can separate the size of the letters in 3 different color zones, which will help nothing wrong with that !And this is just my personal preference. I love that the keys are digged in the board so no light leaks around the keys. I am not a fun of floating keys on top of the board.CONS :* NO Macrokeys That is the biggest con for me!I would love to have 6 macros programmable G Keys on my little finger. I used to have and used a G105 That was great... ( 9 years abused and heavily used :))* Backlight Quality is inconsistent, Some keys letter are not uniform lighting, and if you would not know where the letter should be it gets hard to read... So for that reason, the backlight for 25 percent of the keys is totally unusable* The FONTS... well... maybe I am the fussy one but the Fonts, just can not stand with them.The arrow signs... bleah.. The small symbols are so poorly drawn.. if you don't know exactly where each symbols are on what key, it will be a challenge to find out what the symbols is...

Immediately worked after plug in. No silly drivers needed for download or computer updates. Just plug and play. Lights are able to be turned off and all standard controls including some volume and play pause skip and replay buttons. Perfect layout I've always known. Been a Logitech customer for two decades. Glad to see they're still giving good value for the money here. Comfortable wrist rest and upgraded leg stands, as well

I have been using the Logitech Illuminated Ultrathin Keyboard K740 since 2009. When I looked to get another one a few weeks ago I was crushed to find it had been discontinued. WHY? WHYYYYY!!!!*sigh*And so I began my hunt for a new keyboard.Features it had to have were:1. Back lit.2. Integrated palm rest.3. Low profile, silent keys.4. Preferred a Logitech brand keyboard.I was astonished at how hard that was to find even outside of the Logitech brand. Good Lord!!So I looked deeper into the Logitech G213 Prodigy Gaming Keyboard. It did have all I wanted except the low profile, silent keys. Damn, these keys stick up high. I really was use to low profile and it is so much better to type on imo but since all else out there eluded me and I needed a keyboard, I ordered it.Plug and play and there is a website given to DL the software to customize the keyboard. I am not into the changing colors and all that but I did like that I could set the lighting to constant AND choose a color for the keys AND adjust that color with a gradient slider.Easy enough to customize once the software was installed. pretty basic stuff and more than I am use to. It has a lot of gaming options but I don't really game much online so they really didn't matter much to me but I do like the 'gaming' button that, when on, prevents keys like the microsoft home key to function so no more bringing up my desktop in the middle of a race or fight because of a finger slip. Also, my old key board had 3 brightness settings while this only one.The keys don't make as much noise I expected them to. They are actually fairly quiet though it has taken a bit of getting use to pushing down pegs instead of flat, silent squares but I am getting use to it.Overall this is a solid keyboard with great features that gets the job done.
