Good purchase!!
I put these pods in maybe 2 months ago, they're already a large size. All seeds sprouted except for one. I put other seeds I had in it's place.

Perfect selection
These were almost perfect, they grew faster than expected and fit perfectly into my Aero Garden. Their only issue was that there were 3 duds in the pack that never grew.

Uneven quality lately!
When we received an Aerogarden as a gift, it was fun so we bought another one. We loved the products back then. But since then, we have discovered that the seed pods often don't produce any plants. As an example, out of two boxes of products (2 different combos), we've only had 4 seeds produce anything. This is definitely a turnaround from earlier purchases where we had 100% production. On top of that, I've opened up at least 4 of those that didn't produce and there aren't even any seeds in them. I complained about 3 of the pods and did get a refund of a few dollars but my deadline to ask for replacements are over and I still have seeds not producing and another box I haven't opened yet, so I can't ask for any more refunds. Very frustrating and a super waste of money buying these products. I am extremely frustrated. And my neighbor is fed up with hers too. She purchased 2 Aerogardens too and has had very little luck lately. What happened to quality products?

Great product ..just got a couple of bad pods.
I love Aerogarden stuff. This is my third pack from them but unfortunately with this one two of the pods didn’t “bloom”. But still a great product and well worth it.

Always grows quickly into strong well producing plants.
I've used these multiple times to start my Aero Garden over from scratch. The pods sprout within days and once the leaves start peaking through the paper, they grow very quickly! Often times within 2-3 weeks, I have so much basil I can hardly use it fast enough. Trimmings from the plants can also be used as starts and transplanted to other pots. Many times I take trimmings and put in a glass of water and they'll start rooting into the water if I don't eat them after a few days.Within a month, the Aero Garden is overwhelmed with basil and I make pesto. But if I don't get around to making pesto or using as much as I thought, the plants can easily get out of control and take over. They'll grow around the lights and even go to seed if not pruned regularly. I'm still kind of learning how to extend the usable life of these plants because after about 3 months of regular pruning and using small quantities daily, the plant just gets thicker and more hearty and the leaves grow kind of yellow instead of deep green. They'll sometimes begin to flower and go to seed if left untouched long enough. Right now, I have some older growth from my last kit, and the stalks are so thick now that they still produce a lot of leaves, but as a mature plant, they drink nearly a pitcher of water a day and drop leaves all over the place. When it gets to this point, I usually order another kit to start over and when I clean out the Aero Garden reservoir, the root system is incredible almost completely filling the machine. I think it's probably best to transplant each pod into a pot outside the Aero Garden before the roots get so embedded once it hits maturity like this.

Great product
Aero Garden has been quick to respond, however, they want a lot of info for the sad performance of this set of pods. I have grown lots of these herb gardens and had great experiences.

10/10 recommend!
I always have good luck with these pods! I’ve tried the ones that you add your own seeds and they never sprout or mold. I can always count on these pods to do well!! They are much easier and grow quickly.

Don’t Count On It
I was gifted a Bounty Basic garden kit and since I make a lot of home made pizzas….besides my own dough, and pizza sauce, I would expand my repertoire and grow my own herbs this year. With this in mind, I went straight for the pizza herb package from Aero Garden.Seemed pretty simple……drop the pods, fill with water, two capfuls of the enclosed fertilizer, three after 14 days……”set it and forget it” like that oven we all know.I think I could see pretty soon that this wasn’t going to be what I thought it would be. However I decided to patiently wait for the first 21 days before reviewing it. All the pods have different ranges on them, but the latest duration is 21 days. So here I am. Something grew in 3 of the 9 pods in this version of the garden.1 Parsley, which is my LEAST favorite seasoning to put on my pies, one basil, and one thyme. You will see in one image the thyme made it to about one quarter inch out of its pod, and the day I was going to remove its cap and free it, it promptly laid down and about died.I’m far from pleased with this so far…..Honestly I’m not even up to underwhelmed with this experience. Don’t think that because you only have maybe three things to do to these, that success is guaranteed. Maybe I’m not sitting next to them and talking to them enough…….aren’t you supposed to talk to your plants??Anyway……this has been my experience with this system. Take it or leave it. Like everything in life NOTHING is guaranteed. Do people have a better outcome with the prepared pods? Or should I have started trying to do my own? Although this was a gift, it isn’t cheap. I see some on YouTube that have decent results. If you read the unit as time goes on, it begins to damp down your expectations by telling you some start early….some later……..doesn’t say some never tho…..Update…….another week gone by……unit was asking a for feeding again. Now, since I have STILL ONLY 2 of 9 pods growing……aren’t I putting too much fertilizer in? This is just a bad situation getting worse. I think I’ll need to just get rid of this pre planted trash these people supply, and start over again. I bought a 27.00 parsley plant. Maybe I should keep that one. I still say you should think twice, and maybe three times before you order this prepared pod junk.
