Installer friendly
Used the template that came with it to mark all my holes. And it installed easily. I’m a locksmith so I ha e installed devices that are as much as 1200 dollars. For the money this is a decent unit and I liked that it uses Thru bolts to connect the outside lever trim. That adds a ton of strength to the installation.

Useful could be better
Everything works well but it does not have an open lock position when we want the door left that way...

Works just the way it's supposed to.
I have installed hundreds of panic exit devices like this from more well known manufacturers. This one seems just as good and was no more difficult to install.

porr quality lockset
The lockset has had to be replaced 2 times in six months... Locksmith cannot even service it... I would not recommend purchasing this..

This works fine with the included plate
The latch mechanism has a security feature and the small latch must remain in for the big latch to function. This works fine with the included plate, but would not work with my access control release. The quality and durability is on the cheap side, but it is sufficient for a medium to light duty application. One plus, it did include blank strike plate and latch plate for existing doors that used those before.
