Partially broken rope light - full refund
Product came quickly. Appeared to be good until I noticed the burn mark, beyond which half of the lights are not lit, as you can see in my photos.The lights that do light are bright and clear. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn't defective.Update: I received a full refund for my original purchase and ordered a second rope light. The new one was fully functional and works as expected.Customer service was quick and responsive.

Didn’t last the winter, very disappointed
They worked great all last summer, beautiful color and brightness, we loved them, we just got up here to open everything up and plugged them in, not working at all, not sure what to think or what could have been done differently, no moisture or breaks in it. Since posting this I was offered a refund, so I will purchase another one and see how it goes.

Good stuff
As advertised. Have used it for several hours; can't speak to longevity. Bought it for the slow-fade mode, which looks nice and smooth and is indeed a very slow fade, as shown in the product video.There's actually two slow-fades: One with all the lights, and one with every other light (so half-brighness). I got the solid-color purple/magenta strand, but if you get a multicolor strand the every-other-light mode will fade between different colors.

Blue/green lights originally not working. Replacement now works.
Hung a 50-foot length of the multi-color rope lights. Right away, blue and green lights stopped working on the final 15 feet. Red and orange still worked. Then it spread to half the length (or more) where blue and green did not work. Note: All lights were working when rope was first uncoiled out of the box. Problems started when rope was wrapped around a deck railing. (Update 7-23-2025: I was sent a replacement rope. It was been working perfectly for 10 days now. Keeping fingers crossed.)
