Stop buying batteries
Now I recharge my batteries as and when required. Perfect solution.

One faulty battery in pack of four
When I opened my pack of batteries I noticed that one of the four appears to have a manufacturing fault. There is a small exposed wire on the side of the battery near the positive terminal. This battery also won’t charge

Good batteries but expensive.
As above great batteries but you get what you pay for. One thing to note is ive noticed that my old rechargeable batteries will not chrarge in this charger...it only seems to like these batteries in it. Not the end of the world but something to note.

Excellent delivery and service. Great product
The delivery and service were excellent. The Battery Charger is compact and comes with its own cable for connection to a USB wall wart or computer. Batteries took about 3 hours to charge first time. The Batteries came in their own protective box for safe storage after charging. This part of my purchase would have received 5 stars. However Amazon has decided that the second part of my order should just be lumped in with the first part of my order and the experience for the second part is very poor. I also ordered 4 of the same type of batteries but without the charger. They arrived a day later and while delivery and service were excellent the product was not. The batteries I received had one that would not charge. The other three were fine and charged correctly. My gripe is not with the battery vendor, it is with Amazon. The only option I have is to return the batteries for a refund. If I had an option to contact the vendor direct, I am sure that they could send out a single battery to replace the defective one, or offer and exchange where I send back the one defective battery for them to assess and send me out a replacement. As it is I can only return all of the batteries, wait for the refund and then purchase another set. Of course I could end up with even more of the batteries defective in that case. This is a total waste of my time and has put me off buying through Amazon. On eBay I have the option to contact the vendor and have recently resolved an issue in this way. Having a block on vendor contact is not a good idea.

Indicator lights not working during charging
The charger lights flash green and red just once when you inert the batteries. But then they don't light up to show charging or charged up so you don't know when the batteries are fully charged. This may be a fault in a batch of chargers but I've had two and neither worked. The AAA batteries are failing as well. The button at the + end of the battery has holes and a blue LED inside. There are no instructions about this but it seems to flash showing that the battery is dead. So far 3 out of 8 Li-ion batteries have failed. I explained the problem to the supplier in a letter when I returned one charger but never heard back.

BATTERIES FAILING
I had expected these to last longer, considering the price. But no. Already two of the units won't hold their charge for more than a few minutes. And it's not as if they had had heavy use or been allowed to completely discharged. Which they haven't. I'd have been better off buying a few packets of alkaline.
