I really like this twill tape ribbon because not only is it affordable, but it also makes the non-slip backing of my handmade rugs look more professional. It’s lightweight, durable, and the perfect width to cover the edges of the back of the rug. I use a hot glue gun and align the ribbon along the edges of the back of the rug. This ribbon works better for rugs with straight lines as when you attempt to curve it, it folds up causing the ribbon to not lay perfectly flat. For oddly shaped and circular rugs I cut the ribbon at an angle where it starts to fold, then align the two cut angles to fit until the ribbon looks flat and seamless. I’ve used this one spool on multiple rugs and still have so much ribbon left over to. Could also be used for other crafts.

Used this tape to bind the edges of carpet remnants to make area rugs for our new house. A very affordable option compared to buying pre-made rugs. This worked perfectly for that! I bound several rugs with one roll. It was also a good neutral color that matched most of the remnants I bought. Will use this again if I make more area rugs.

I wish listings would include the weight of webbing. I’ve purchased quite a few cotton webbings through Amazon and this one is, by far, the thinnest. The weave is very loose. I’ll find something else to use it for as it won’t work for my project.

I bought this to tie sets of linens together to help organize my linen closet. Perfect for my needs.

I use it for drawstrings and reinforcing jersey cotton. Love this tape.
