This dictionary of difficult words is particularly nice because it has pictures to illustrate many of the words. I have had a small stroke and some of the advice is to learn a new difficult word each day to help the brain make new neural pathways. This book is a delight and would make learning for anyone fun. My kids (ages 11, 8, and 4) and I absolutely love this dictionary. The selection of words is great! They're so fun to say aloud. So nice to have my kids calling each other flibbertygibbits and ninnyhammers, instead of their usual repertoire of insults. They use one of the tame and silly insults from the dictionary and all end up laughing about it. We've all learned the meanings of so many new words, mom included. The book is excellent quality (raised lettering on the cover, really thick pages) and the pictures are gorgeous. An excellent addition to our library!

Love this book. It has such a nice, fun collection of words. The kids love it.
