I have a single bulb ceiling fan in the living room that produces dismal illumination. I was going to install a new fan, but searched for a solution such as this first and I am glad I did. Simply screwed it into existing fan socket, added the bulbs and it made a huge difference. Excellent and cheap solution.

Two and a half years ago I installed an LED garage light fixture into the porcelain lamp holder in the garage ceiling. It just burned out so I temporarily replaced it with a 75-watt incandescent light bulb. But I missed the brightness of the LED light fixture. I wanted a fixture that didn't pose a risk of burning up or burning out after a few months. This Jackyled light socket splitter seems like the perfect alternative. I adjusted the angle of the sockets, I put four 13 watt A19 LED light bulbs in it, and I screwed the fixture into the ceiling. Installation was a synch, and it's so bright it hurts to look directly at it. Total watts = 52W; total lumens equal 6,000 Lm. (The instructions say that you should have a total wattage of no more than 80 watts, so LED's are recommended.) I'm glad I can see the dark corners of our garage again.

Very impressed with the quality. No rivets (like cheap assemblies) they actually used Phillips head screws in this (see images) seems very sturdy. Nice that you can rotate all fixtures on both axis points individually both vertically & horizontally. You can also use spot light bulbs in conjunction with standard bulbs, and different wattage bulbs etc. The 4 individual moving heads give you unlimited light pointing options. The head pivot points also have just the right amount of give & movement so that they dont move around once put into whatever position. They are nicely painted in a soft gloss bright white so they are certainly attractive enough for any indoor use. It also worked perfectly when i tested it using a dimmer switch. Im using it now to light up a dark shed using LED bulbs: 2 for general lighting & 2 direct spot bulbs to point at my paint can shelves. My shed sees fairly high humidity/ heat, but these have performed flawlessly & haven’t moved or drooped down . I plan to buy a couple more for indoor use as well. Highly recommended. 👍👍

So far, it works. I put five 13W, 5000 lumens LED bulbs in the socket in my garage, and it lights up the garage far better than the 200W incandescent bulbs I was replacing every couple months. The entire garage needs upgraded electrical work, outlets, lights, space heater, and a fan or two, but this inexpensive multi-socket is a great bandaid for the basic illumination needs. Someone installed a cheap motion sensor switch on the wall to run the light socket into which I installed the socket expander, and the lights never turn off completely but rather flicker at a low level when the motion sensor switch is in detection mode. I think that has to do w the LED bulbs lighting up from minimal current bleeding thru the switch, which could also explain the incandescent bulbs burning out so quickly if they always were carrying current but not enough to produce visible light until motion tripped the switch to supply full power. Anyway, I was not impressed with the quality of the construction, especially the swivel joints. They work, but I'm considering applying some petroleum jelly to the hinges if I need to move them again. The packaging was minimal, but it was shipped in a box inside a box w other items and air packs, so it was fine. NO literature of any kind, not even a label on the box, so the only info on this gadget is what's on Amazon.com's description of the product.
