Great value bike computer
Recently purchased a used (2015) bike with a power meter so I needed a bike computer to connect and send power readings. Did not want to spend $200 -$500 for one from the “name brand” companies. This Cycplus unit seems well made and has a sturdy feel. Comes with a rubber (silicone?) cover which gives it a non slip grip and sleek matte black finish.Came mostly charged but plugged it in to charge it before syncing devices. Don’t know how long a full charge takes. Instructions are a bit sparse as others have said.Buttons to change settings one the bottom edge are stiff but positive enough. Screen is clear and numbers are big enough to read even in bright sunlight. My bike had a Garmin mount which this unit fit perfectly.Synced to power meter and heart rate monitor very quickly. Spin crank and 4-5 rotations later. Cadence and power readings show up. Heart rate shows up once you are close enough to computer. I installed my old Cateye V3 computer to compare values.Cadence and speed 100% matchDistance which is via GPS within 1-2 miles match over 30 mile rideRide time seemed to be off a little but not sure yet. I believe the ride time pauses if you stop mid ride. My old computer did not do thatHeart rate accuracy is a function of the sending device but it was mostly on pointDoes not calculate calories burned. So I have to track that on Map My Ride appOther entertaining readings are grade incline positive value for uphill or negative value for downhill. Max and average values as well as a few other data points I don’t use.For the money you get a ton of information which has made my rides more informative and funI did not want to have GPS turn by turn info so this was not an issue for me.

Thorougly wionderful functionality
An excellent alternative to Garmin and other pricey computers! Connecting to satellite is quick. Left button to turn on, pause, and resume. Middle button to save. Right button to toggle through three screens for Now, Average, and Max. Very easy to toggle on the handlebar with your thumb. The display is very easy to read. It's bright enough in the sun and a decent size font. The top half shows speed, the lower half is split with add on extra data on the left and various other data (elevation gain, grade, etc) on the right.Synching and uploading is easy. Save the ride. Load the CycPlus Fit app on your phone. Synch starts automatically. When done, click the three dots and export. (I export to Ride with GPS.)Tech support is prompt and accurate. I had trouble figuring out how to use all the features and activate the cadence function. I got prompt replies to my emails that were very clear and helpful.Cons: The summary data in the app is all in kilometers. Temperature is in Celcius. The data in Ride with GPS is translated into data I can use. The temperature function is way off by 15+ degrees F. I don't really care about that. My cadence sensor popped off after riding over some rough road. I used it for about 200 miles and got a pretty good idea what I'm doing cadence wise so I don't think I'll replace it. It doesn't have a route mapping function but for my purposes, I don't really care.Overall, this is a totally decent alternative to the $250-$500 bike computers out there. This unit has everything I would want to have for a very low price.

Excellent value for the price. Two mounts means I can use on two different bikes.
Meets my needs, bonus it connects to all ant+ sensors so it reads the Garmin speed and cadence sensors I have on my road bike as well as the Cycplus speed and cadence sensors I have on my hybrid. I purchased this for my hybrid but discovered I could use it on both bikes because the M1 comes with a mount in the box. The Z1 mount doesn't fit either handlebars, so I used an old belkin bike computer adapter and nut to place the Z1 on my road bike. Tested riding both bikes and seeing if data on my Garmin watch matched the Cyplus computer, it does.It was tricky setting up the time zone, had to search for which GMT to use for the U.S. zone I'm in. Also have to remember to press start to begin recording the ride otherwise it won't show distance or odometer, but will display speed and cadence. Also remember to long press the middle button to save. Data synced to the Cycplus app matched my Garmin, only caveat is that it is in KM and I couldn't figure out how to change it. Overall great value for the price!
