Soft and good quality
I took a chance on this since it wasn’t a brand I’ve used before. As others have said, it’s quite thin. But the actual batting is soft and easy to work with. There is a light scrim layer on one side which gave it enough stability to stay in place while sandwiching the quilt layers. It wasn’t stretching or ripping apart. I quilt by hand, so I think it will be easy to work with. The quilt I’m making is for covering up while watching tv so I wasn’t looking for anything too heavy.

Excellent Liner for Quilt Making!
This quilt liner is fantastic quality—soft, durable, and easy to work with. It provided the perfect inner layer for my handmade quilt, adding just the right amount of weight and warmth. It held its shape well during sewing and didn’t bunch or shift. Great value for the price, and I’ll definitely be using this again for future quilting projects!

Thin but usuable batting! Not very warm
This cotton batting was exactly the dimension specified. When I compared it with cotton batting that I had bought from jo-ann's fabrics, this product was about half the thickness.I used this batting to make a quilt that I plan on using when I'm outside on my porch in the summer, so the thinness is actually a plus because it won't make me too warm. However, I would not recommend this product for quilts that you would like to make extra warm - go to a fabric store and make sure that the batting you choose is thick enough for your purposes. If you're making a decorative quilt that you plan on hanging on a wall for example, or other decorative objects such as quilted placemats, this would be a good affordable choice! As for the reviews about washing it first, I have no idea why anyone would wash their cotton batting before sewing it into their quilt. I've heard of people doing this when they inherit batting from another quilter and they're uncertain about where it's been and what it's been exposed to, and the directions are very specific about how to do this such as not using any kind of agitation. I'm not certain why anyone would pre-wash a brand new product. Seems unnecessary to wash it prior to stitching it into your quilt and just washing the quilt itself. I wouldn't expect there to be any excessive shrinking that would take place that could ruin your quilt, but that is just my experience!

Soft and thin
Support soft. I've used it for 3 blankets and 1 pillow so far. I will likely buy again. I don't have room to setup my sewing machine so I've hand tacked this onto my crochet projects.

This is a terrible product
The scrim is not cotton. The batting was already separating from the scrim when I unfolded it and as I tried to layer it between fabrics it wrinkled into hard lumps or tore, creating holes. I ended up throwing it away. It was absolutely worthless.
