A must read for those who use KenKen in th classroom. BTW, I highly recommend introducing Ken =Ken in your classroom....for any age. For the younger kids start with the 4X4. For the very young (5 or 6) start with the 3X3,

I bought this book hoping there would be some regular ken ken's to solve and this isn't the case.They only have 8 x 8 puzzles for the example and an experienced ken ken player is going to want to do 9x9 and 8x8 is too difficult for a beginner.The examples were too difficult to follow and should have been better detailed. The one way they recomended solving a puzzle with adding the cells together wouldn't work on the majority of ken ken puzzles I do seeing how the cells are laid out. For a new ken ken player it would be very confusing.They should have started out with a 4x4 example for beginners and gradually worked up to 9x9 adding more solving suggestions.I'm buying kenken for dummy's hoping that book will be more useful and have more puzzles to solve

Basic strategies explained. Considering even-odd numbers I never thought of.

IF you are just starting out or an experienced Ken Ken solver, this book is for you. You can hone your skills. Before I got this book it was rare I would completely solve larger Ken Ken's.
