Best surf sunblock
This stuff is the best. I’ve tried pretty much everything. No weird ingredients to worry about, stays on for hours, smells good, spreads easily if you’re in a warm climate or put it in your pocket beforehand. Like all zinc sunblock, it’ll get in your clothing or gear if you touch it after application. Don’t touch it, problem solved.

Love this!
I love this product! It has a nice thick consistency, but light when you spread it on your skin it protected me well from the sun when I used it at the beach. It has a nice coconut scent as well. I will definitely be re-ordering this item in the future.

Incredible product from an intelligent, quality-obsessed company
Where to start… I came across this product a few years ago to use on my two boys who are competitive swimmers and they’re scanned. The product is amazing as it stays put and last through several hours of swimming even in chlorinated water. This summer I had a question about the product and was looking here to see if someone had answered it before. The owner, Shannon Kenner, had actually put his name and phone number in an answer to another persons review so I decided to call him. I expected to get someone in customer service or a recording that Shannon actually answered the phone. The man is brilliant and so well spoken about the fairly technical topic of sunscreens both natural like his and the chemical based options, I was blown away. I’m an attorney and can tell pretty quick if someone is spinning information and unable to answer questions an informed consumer would ask. Not only could he answer questions but he provided information I’d never knew about despite being fairly well- informed about natural products and the dangers of chemicals used in the “safe” sunscreens. He also explained that “nano” zinc oxide is a different species from the non-nano ingredients warhead uses and doesn’t provide the same level of coverage. Who knew. I use their tinted skin nourishing sunscreen as foundation everyday as does my ninth grader. He has some trouble with acne and the tretinoin (retain-a) makes his skin extremely sun sensitve and a tad pink. The tinted product counteracts that and doesn’t irritate his skin or exacerbate breakouts. He wears it to school and switches to the stick formula before his two hour swim practice. His skin looks great and the pinkness has lessened likely because some of it was due to sun exposure during practice. It’s rare to find a product that goes beyond what it promises and even rarer to find one with a founder so passionate and brilliant on the science underlying their product. The stick lasts forever and if it melts you can refrigerate it to restore its form. We had one of our sticks melt in the car in 102 degree heat wave and I decided to put some in a metal tin and refrigerate the stick and the product I took from the stick. Both came back to prior texture and I love the small size to carry around. Anyway, definitely give this product a try. I’m sue if you have any issues or questions, Shannon himself will help you. :)

Favorite face sunscreen
I have a sun allergy that is exacerbated by chemical sunblocks, so I have to stick solely to zinc based sunscreens. As we all know, they tend to leave a white cast - which is not that bad for me, since I'm exceedingly pale most of the year, but it's still noticeable on my face and makes me look even more ghostly than usual!Enter Waxhead: zinc, beeswax, coconut oil, and... cocoa powder? Yes, I smell like chocolate now. It adds just enough color that I don't look like I'm trying out for clown school and works like a dream to prevent sunburn and my sun allergy rash.Pros: Just 4 (safe) ingredients. Reef and environment safe (safer than the chemical stuff, anyway). Still has that zinc haze, but it's less noticeable and blends better with my skin tone. Perfect 10/10 on sun protection. Plus, it. Smells. So. Good.Cons: If you're darker than "Hi, I'm Obviously of North European Ancestry", it'll still probably leave a more noticeable haze. Can be a little difficult to spread, particularly when cold. The cocoa powder is a bit grainy and can feel a little rough on sensitive skin. A bit pricey (but, well, less pricey than skin cancer...).Just keep it out of reach of the little ones and pooches. It smells like food and we've already had one of our mutts try snacking on it :')

Good sunscreen.
This sunscreen works great. It's bit white when you put it on, but you can rub it in. The container lasts a long time as well.

Miracle Product for Me
I have eczema and very sensitive, dry skin. I cannot tolerate a chemical sunblock and in the past have found most mineral products to be drying. Then I discovered moisturizing mineral sunblocks!!! I spend a lot of the day in the sun with my job, so protection is essential. I have tried many different sunblocks and though they worked I wanted to use a tinted product to avoid that ghostly look. Believe it or not, the Wax Head tinted Zinc Oxide sunscreen stick has been a miracle product for my face. It is difficult to spread, so is easier to use on a small surface area. Because it is tinted, I basically use it as foundation. It even covers my red rashes fairly well. It seals in moisture and protects my skin, which is very important for eczema. It also smells faintly of cocoa, which is awesome! For my neck, I use the Wax Head tinted mineral facial suncreen. It spreads more easily.
