Perfect flares.
Crazy good flares and for what 60 bucks I feel like I beat the system. Sick green, accurate, professional appearance, and the look and feel is great. For this value for the money I'm very happy and will consider products from this company in the future.

Good flaring tool.
I hesitated and looked at a few of these on Amazon. I have used some cheap ones in the past. These worked awesome! Seems solid and I am glad I bought this one. Good value for the money.

It did the trick...
My first flare. I went to auto parts store at first and bought what I didn't realize was a "Brake" flaring tool. Totally different flare. I hooked up a mini split in my motorhome and had to cut the lines to a smaller length. I love the clutch feature. I am 65 so it was easy on the hands. Great tool, great value. Hooked up lines no leaks on first try.

Good product without the expensive name
I have used this flaring tool several times since i bought it. First off i love the color of the product, and ho it comes with a nice hard case. The tool seems to work just as good if not better than a yellow jacket/ CPS flaring tool.. and it comes with a std/metric bar set unlike the big name brands. The tubing cutters that come with this kit are awesome as well. They are speed cutters that cut from 1/4” all the way to at least 1 1/8” acr copper.I am looking into buying their hydro. Gear/pulley puller as well! Will do a review on this once i have it!It seems the more you use this product, the better it works so far.9-11-22A little update on this awesome product!! Bonvoison i am very proud! The flaring tool still works like a beast, and the cutters are literally the best manual tubing cutters i have ever owned. If i EVER need a new set of tubing cutters, i will be finding and buying this kit!It really sucks you cannot find the super stars cutters by themselves because i have had 6-7 techs/plumbers ask me where to get them from and i out them on everytime but you have to buy the kit to get them!Amazing product 👌🏻✅ still!

It didn't work!
The media could not be loaded. It was useless because it couldn't grab the 1/4 inch line of my mini-splitWhile the holes for the thicker lines had grooves, for the 3 smaller ones it didn't - they were smooth and polished, allowing the copper pipe to slip out at the first contact with the flaring tip.Edit: Okay, here's what I think it's going on... The line that came with my unit is likely metric and 6mm, which is less than 1/4 in.Oh, well... Can't blame the tool for that.

Great tool. I needed this for my DIY mini split install.
This flaring tool has a nice sturdy weight and all parts move easily. There is a sliding depth gauge so no need to guess as to the 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch end protrusion sticking out as recommended for flaring. There are stops to prevent the eccentric cone section from accidentally sliding off the rails and hitting the floor which would mar the cone. Nice safety measure.I inspected the cone with my helmet lens at 5.25 magnification and there were two micro dings over half way up on the cone. They aren’t visible to the naked eye. I really don’t think they were anywhere near the flaring area and they were very small. There were no imperfections seen after inspecting my practice flares. The piece of left over copper pipe left in the tool noted by one reviewer seems to be a feature and not an indication of a used tool. Mine also had one as well so I guess they use it as a demo or quality control to make sure the tool is performing well. The tool does not come with a case but you can also easily unscrew the position holder handle to get it to fit back into the box for safe storage.I seriously don’t think the Hilmor costing over twice the price can be twice the tool. This is a good product.

high quality flares from high quality tool.
This tool is excellent. It makes high quality flares. Cost is much lower than the value of this tool. If you need a flaring tool, don't be afraid to order this one. Make sure to put a small amount of lube on the cone that forms the flare, it will help create a smooth sealing face on the flare.
