Pentek BP-420-5 Polypropylene Bag Filter

Glad to have these as they work well. NO complaints

It fit the big blue bag filter housing well and appears well constructed. Have not checked its performance by emptying it yet.

I really like these filters. I usually have to clean mine every two weeks but I like to try to keep these filters like new

Does need to be changed out every few months, but we have heavy iron in our well.

These Pentek bag filters are excellent filters. We have no complaints about the quality of filters.But how they are handled could (and should) be much better.These filters are mostly used to filter drinking water. Yet the four bag filters we received were just tossed loosely into an unsealed box, that allowed significant dust and dirt from UPS trucks to get into the filters. We can understand reducing use of plastic, but they could have been in a paper bag, or otherwise protected from contamination. When just tossed around loose, how many times were they handled and tossed around on dirty surfaces?Please protect filters from getting dirty. They are used for drinking water!
