Only opened this evening and this took at most 3 mins to create. Highly recommend and very excited to have a real go at it. Also comes off easily and doesn’t stain skin (had in for approx 10 mins and cleaned off) super impressed with the congealed blood!

Really easy to apply and very realistic effect. Only lost a star because it rubs off fairly easily so fades more quickly than other SFX make up (even with fixing powder).

Really easy to use for beginners and super fun to play around with. The blood itself isn’t the best I needed to add makeup to make it believable but putting the blood on top of that was really good.

So I bought this for Halloween along with latex and spirit gum to do a ‘sliced open’ wound from my forehead to tip of my nose.The bruise kit is good, but to make it look like a proper bruise you do have to use all the colours - YouTube have some great tutorials!The wax was decent enough for the price, nothing amazing. Just warm it up in your hand, roll into a sausage, place on the skin and blend in the edges. I added latex on top for stability.Now, the blood. It is very gelatinous, so not runny like the usual fake blood. But BOY does it stain!! I put black eyeshadow in the ‘cut’ first to add some depth and then attempted to put some blood inside. The texture was quite hard to work with and my fingers and nails were BRIGHT RED. My bad though, I know this can stain so I should have used some gloves! The little sponge is good for stippling some blood around the wound but the bloods texture was hard to ‘spread’ so maybe get some of the runnier stuff too.

I was a bit surprised that I needed 2 other items to use this pack. Luckily it worked without them. Did the job

Everything you need apart from spirit gum and remover.You need to use spirit gum in and around where you want to put the scar wax on your skin and blend out to.The castor oil I don’t think is any good. Use without. I think it made it all crack up so it didn’t last long.I have used it without oil sealer and make up on top and it stays well.The sponge for creating blood splatter is great and the blood is fab. You can create drips!Be warned all fake blood stains skin and stuff.Make sure you oil your hands and tools before making your wax prosthetics.

I used this product for my face. Perfect scares with blood inside.
