Just A Few Issues
First let me say it's a very good product.Several reviews claim it leakes through where the adapters twist in. It doesn't. The problem is it must be twisted all the way in which is difficult.One drawback is there are two adapters, one which is plugged and the other is not. The box has two holes so if you are installing it close to a wall or foundation, the plugged adapters must be installed inside the box, not outside.Also, it would be helpful if the manufacturer published better measurements.The height is 12 inches to the bottom of the lip, not the top of the grate.The outlet is centered in the 12 inches so the top of a 4 inch pipe is 4 inches from the top and likewise with the bottom.And lastly, the box will not drain until there is 4 inches of water in the bottom. Therefore, that water will remain in the bottom unless you drill a drain hole. To prevent erosion, I suggest only a small hole.

It Leaks
We have used prior versions of this unit. This is the "New Version," so I figured there were improvements over the prior version. The outlet adapter slots (4) around the perimeter don't line up and leave large unsealed sections where water leaks out. Although it should not be a huge issue, it will saturate the soil around the basin where water can escape during a difficult storm. The manufacturing seems low quality, given the poor fit. I think the manufacturing cost savings are the "improvements."

Great product
We ordered this to install a French drain on the side of our house. After a lot of digging and ordering all other necessary parts this ended up being a great purchase! 2 months in and still holding up great!
