Amazing Speakers for the Price - But Not Beginner Friendly
Fantastic quality for the price. I compared these to a similarly priced pair of Kenwood KFC-1665R and the Bio's looked and felt like they should be x2 the price by comparison. They outclassed the 1665R's big time. They sound great; especially the highs. Crisp and clear.I'm removing one star, however, due to the lack of hardware, wires, instructions, or even a manual. All you get are the speakers. This shouldn't be a big deal to experienced or pro installers but for a novice DIY'er like me, this left a lot to be desired. These are awesome speakers for the price, but rookie installers should take note that they'll need to figure out mounting hardware and wiring on their own.

What a bargain!
If you're looking for realistic sound without super high volume capability for a low price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better product than this one. This is my first purchase from CT Sounds, but I doubt it'll be my last. I'm running these from a Sony MEX-XB100BT head unit, which pushes 40W RMS per channel, and you do get significant cone breakup when you push them too hard; the 30W per channel power rating sounds about right to me. Bass output isn't great, but they sound really good down to the 80 Hz High Pass Filter I'm running. If you want bass, you should really consider a subwoofer. The speaker terminals are pretty flimsy, but the rest of the construction looks pretty good, and I imagine they'll last a long time as long as you don't thrash them. These are great for rear fill or for an upgrade over stock speakers, and if you want clarity for talk or for music, they're a fantastic bargain.

Good for light use, will fail.
These speakers were run through the appropriate amp, with a capacitor. The amp was tuned down, for the break-in period, nothing went above 10 decibels. After approximately 2 weeks, the passenger side speaker a failed completely, when the voice coil fried, and all of the highs became completely broken and staticky. The system was not overclocked, and there was no way that the speaker could have been blown through normal use, having rechecked with RCA cables, having rechecked connections, and having rechecked all the numbers, I was sold a bad speaker.
