Just installed this and very pleased with every aspect of this ceiling light. Installed in a landing at the top of the stairs. For the cost of this product its looks and functionality are excellent. Very easy to install with clear instructions. Using the remote control you can easily alter the light brightness and softness as well as change the colour of the backlight. Night light feature easy to use too. Thinking of buying another one for the other end of the landing. Definitely would recommend.

We bought this for our bathroom & it's so good we ordered another for the kitchen. Love the coloured back lights & it's great that you can choose the main light colour. The fact that it is dimmable from the remote also works well for me as I suffer with migraine & can't tolerate most lighting as its too bright

Great level of light availbale from this unit. Anywhere you used to use a traditional incandescant bulb this provides more than enoug light.The adjustable colour temperature is excellent. Pretty standard fare for LED lights these days but still its a grat ability to have especialy in homes when sometimes you want a codler light for visibility and warmer light for mood.The RGB light ring around the top is daft but fun, teh kids seem to love it. Shame the level of brightness there coudl nbot be adjusted by the remote.The dimming feature is why I chose this item and it works well except I wish it had more steps. That is my main gripe wiht this item. There are not many levels in between full brightnes and dimmest. Often in teh evening I find I want dim but not the dimmmest and the next tap up is too bright for what I am after.The remote is simple to use turn rgb or main light on and off seperatly. Even has a memory function for one lighting mode. Which is great but few thigns woudl maek that button even better. when the light is off if oyu press the preset button it turns the light on wiht your preferred preset, woudl be nice if it woudlalso turn it off. IF you happen to set bth main and RGB ring as your preferred preset then you have to press two buttons to turn them both off. Small gripeInstallation can be easy or it can be hard this is really dependant on your wiring and lighting situation at home. Luckily forme the room I installd into is the veyr top floor of the house and had only one light fitting. So THe ceiling rose didnt have loop going in and then out as well as teh swtiching wire. So all I needed to do was remove the rose completely and just connect the switch live and the neutral. The easy press connectors made that job super simple. However if youre wiring is a little more complicated you have a bit more work to do and then installation is not so easy when you are tinkng of brackets and terminators etc

I bought 2 for my kitchen. Well packaged, prompt delivery. The light is easy to install. Took my husband about 10 minutes to do 1. And they are amazing! They have set the room off with the sleek modern design. We had spot lights before, but they didn't seem to light up the kitchen. These do, infact 1 does. The remote let's you control the light brightness & colour. Will be buying more for kids rooms!

I was a bit sceptical about buying this as it initially looked a bit cheap but it's a great light. I have it in my bedroom and it works perfectly and the different settings are great if you don't have a dimmer switch or you want a coloured light in the room

Very nice

Ordered on 4th March, installed on 7th March and all working as expected. Then on the 23rd March it failed. No issues with the electrics in the house, tripped fuses etc. The light simply failed after 2 weeks of use. I have requested a refund. There are a number of other 1 star reviews where the lights have failed quickly.I will purchase a 2nd one as I liked the light output etc but am now worried that these are not robust and will not provide a long service life. Time will tell!
