Can this be used to program a boot loader on an samd21g boards?

Can firware be upgraded? Too many cannot be and it defeats the point...

I had the same concern since the ST-Programmer complained about old firmware on all the other ST-Link clones I tried and failed to update them to the latest firmware. ST-Programmer still complained about old firmware with this one but it upgraded just fine and I was flashing other devices in just a few minutes.

I just purchased this, where can I find info on the pinout? I can only find 4 pin and 10 pin info, but not for this 8 pin programmer.
