A useful tool for the proud electrician
As a commercial electrician this is particularly useful. Of course we would Never work on an energized cirucut, but if we did this would make it safer. If youre mindful, It will completly eliminate the risk, theoretically speaking of course. The hook makes snagging that ONE friggen wire you need out of a busy box or panel simple and quick. If you look there is 2 hooks, one on each end, and they are shaped differently. The one that looks like it would be better definitely is - and that's all there is to it.The pusher makes being a lazy dirt bag and shoving all those wires in a junction box with out damaging the insulation easy. While you're doing this you might even decide to use the other features of this device and be a craftsman for once. It actually is pretty useful for jamming wires to fit certain devices in shallow boxes nicely and somewhat neat, I'm talking to you GFCI in the elevator pit of medical city Dallas. I still remember. The wire bender is also notable, although not used terribly often. This is more for the pretty work we do. Panels come to mind using this you can bend wires into neat little 90° bends and it looks pretty sharp. If you take pride in your work you will like having this. It also can speed up your panel time as you can actually run the length of the wire bending it as you go. To explain this you can start with this tool on the wire at the branch conduit (or romex... If that's your thing..) and then guide the wire along the path you want it to go, bending the wire along the way. When you reach its destination you just snip it, strip it, and land it. Boom. It quick and looks like a machine did it. Although this tool is made for #12 it will also fit #10 somewhat comfortably. The loop maker is OK but your strippers are probably a better bet. The strippers are already gonna be in your hand when you're making loops anyway. The B cap twister is nice but because the tool is long it makes twisting wire nuts in panels and boxes difficult so I don't use it often. Anyway, I'm a man and my fingers aren't made of glass so I'll survive. It honestly does make manipulating wire much easier and the learning curve is surprisingly small. There are some tricks I've picked up from using it but out of the box you will notice improvements to your work.

Clever and well made.
I feel so stupid for not knowing about this sooner. It is the best imaginable tool for the specific task of dressing boxes. They are sturdy and indestructible. Buy multiples and spread them around.

Permanent addition to my tool belt!
I usually don’t buy things that seem “gimmicky”, but I thought what the heck, it’s not too much money and it may be of some use. I LOVE THIS THING! It is one of my favorite tools I carry and I don’t go anywhere without it. It makes stuffing wires in gang boxes nice, neat and easy. It has options to push, pull, bend and put a loop in wires for attaching to devices! Also anytime you don’t have to handle wiring with your hands in panels, etc. is great since this also is non conductive. I would recommend it to anyone who does electrical work of any kind. It takes up virtually no space, weighs nothing, the price is right, and it is a definitely handy to have!

Relieves wiring hassles
This is a surprisingly useful tool for working with wiring inside tight junction box spaces. I had to replace an old broken socket (in a 30 year old house) with a new (larger) socket that had 2 USB ports as well as the usual 2 electrical connections. The existing wiring was too long, very stiff, and used large wire nuts... very hard to manipulate. I cut the wires down to size, replaced the wire nuts with Wago connectors (much smaller than the existing wire nuts), and used this tool to move the wiring around in the box. The tool was the perfect alternative to using a pair of pliers to move things around... it gives you the needed leverage and grip for doing the job. Note: I wrapped the Wago connectors to make sure the the levers on the connectors were held down. The box is less jammed up and safer than the old implementation.

Great tool! NOT THE ONE PICTURED!!!
I saw this tool on a YouTube video where it was recommended for pushing wire into a box. Being non-metallic makes it far superior to trying to use needle nose pliers or a screwdriver. However, be aware that the tool first pictured in this Amazon listing is not the same as the one I received. The one I received is the exact one I wanted from the YouTube video. I don't know why Amazon has this photo as the first. Scroll the photos to the one that has the wire nut wrench in the middle. That's the one I received.

Great tool
I have struggled with bending 12/3 wire into small electrical boxes for a long time. Once you get the hang of it, this tool makes the job much simpler. I wish I had discovered it a year ago.
