Will this work with an ipad pro with usb-c connector? the yubico 5ci does not so i'm wondering if that's a universal issue or if the feitian works.

When I first needed a Security Key, I purchased 3 in the hopes that at least 1 of them would work, after having read many horror stories of reviewed Security Keys. There is no security tape over the usb. how do i know it has not been tampered with?

I don't think the question the OP asked had anything to do with someone coming to your house and stealing their key. The problem is that it is well known that there are companies in China that manufacture these keys and their government intercepts them in transit, tampers with them, then re-packages them using the same companies' original packaging and sends them on to the US to be sold.
