Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Mini Jars Variety Pack, 0.9 Ounce (Pack of 8)

I bought this Kernal Seasons popcorn seasoning mini variety 8-pk as a present to add to my mom’s popcorn themed gift bag. Due to not being able to eat sugar, she’s been munching on popcorn a lot. She’s tiring of the same flavors so I thought she might like a small starter pack of new seasonings. I decided on this 8-pack of mini containers because I didn’t want to buy one each of the regular sized jars (2.6-3 oz each for $3-4 plus some are available in jumbo sized jars of 8-11 oz for $7-8). I doubt she’d be able to eat them all before they went bad and it seemed like a waste in the event that she didn’t like a few flavors. I usually don’t like paying more for less especially when you’re not sure the recipient will like it but since it really was a very low cost gift, I went ahead and bought it. Surprisingly, she loved it and although I knew there might be a few she didn’t care for, she was excited to try all of the flavors. The containers are mini and maybe 1/2 full (0.9 oz) but it’s still a very cute, inexpensive gift for a popcorn lover. Each plastic jar comes w a seal for freshness that must be removed prior to dispensing the seasoning through shaking. I also think they’re the perfect size to throw a couple in your purse or bag to use at the movie theater to make good popcorn even better. It comes in a cute box perfect for gifting or wrapping. Since it’s under $15, it also makes a great white elephant gift at Christmas. It’s also the right size for a gift basket. So far, she’s tried the cheesy jalapeño and loved it. She said it wasn’t hot (but she’s Mexican and what’s not hot to her is most definitely VERY to others so I don’t know what to think) but still had a little kick to it. Even w her sugar issue, the caramel corn flavored seasoning only has 1 gram of sugar so she can still enjoy it. She also said she was impressed w the cute box and liked that it allowed her try 8 flavors instead of being forced to buy them individually. So the recommendations from both the giver and recipient are the exact same: We both highly recommend the Kernal Seasons Mini 8-pack Popcorn Seasonings even though in total you do get way less than buying them individually. Sometimes we won’t buy things for ourselves because we can’t justify the $ or paying more and getting less so it’s nice when someone else does it for us! I’ll update if there are any changes in opinion.

Bought for son's grad party popcorn bar and they were a big hit! Awesome variety of flavors and like that guest could control how much the added. Some even mixed flavors for custom mix. Awesome price point compared to the full size bottles.

This seasonings are great there's a lot of different flavor choices. You can add them to anything not just your popcorn and the value for money is great too!

I ordered these the other day and already tried all of them on various batches of popcorn!After reading review of people saying these seasonings don’t stick to the popcorn (which makes sense since it’s dry popcorn and dry seasoning), I did some experimenting with things I had at home!! (I’ve been using plain popcorn popped from plain kernels.)I tried drizzling flavorless oil (avocado oil), but even after shaking vigorously, the oil did not evenly coat the popcorn, so the flavors did not apply evenly.Next, I tried drizzling melted butter (I waited for it to cool down a little so it wouldn’t make my popcorn soggy), but even after shaking vigorously, it still did not spread evenly. It DID give delicious buttery taste to some kernels, though - YUM!FINALLY, I found my spray oil (PAM). I poured two handfuls of popcorn in a single layer in a mixing bowl, sprayed it with oil, sprinkled it with seasoning. Next I mixed it around, adding a bit more popcorn, sprayed, and sprinkled! Repeat until you’ve seasoned all your popcorn!! I found this method very successful!FLAVORS — I found them very delicious! Especially if you like flavored potato chips. If you’re more into simple/natural flavors, these might taste too artificial for you. But I do appreciate how they use real cheese for their cheesy flavors and I noticed they use a lot of real seasonings. I feel like these would be good sprinkled on fries, too!SIZE — These are definitely sample sizes, but it’s a good way to figure out which flavors you like. But these seasonings go a long way since they’re very flavorful.

Great flavor nice variety pack

I love the variety of flavors for the popcorn but I did not feel that the popcorn flavor was strong enough for me I had to sprinkle more just to taste the flavor the white cheddar was delicious and the nacho but the other flavors seem to stick and hard to get not all of them were fresh and you had to use a lot just to feel the flavor The only one that felt flavorful was the kettle corn I sprinkled a lot of the white cheddar and it took a while for it to get the flavor even when I spray butter the nacho jalapeno didn't really taste like nacho jalapeno I'm not sure if I got a bad batch but I've tried this brand before and I would sprinkle just a little and it would be already tasty but this one did not seem to be as tasty or needed more powder to coat the popcorn Just depends it's easy to use but in my case I had to sprinkle a lot just for the taste I like that there was a variety of flavors in one so whatever your mood but the other popcorn powder sticks easily and I had to use a pointed knife to loosen the powder flavoring

Perfect for summer movie parties! These were used for popcorn covering at our big outdoor movie. These flavor is outstanding for such a little amount. So easy to use and store, and they are stackable. Absolute great value for your money.

We watch a lot of movies in our house and have to usually have popcorn everytime. I wasn’t sure which flavor the family would want or if they would agree on a flavor so I got this variety pack. I like all the flavors and the kids like most of them. They’re not a fan of anything that’s remotely spicy so they don’t like the one flavor (I don’t think it’s spicy or not very much)
